Love the story between bear and the moon

I loved this story as a kid and had to buy for my daughter!

This is one of my favorite books from my childhood and it made to be a perfect baby shower gift for my new niece. The book was an excellent excellent condition

I love this book. It holds a wonderful lesson for children. I like to give it as a gift, along with Shel Silverstein’s The Giving Tree, so it’s not missed! Check it out. One of the best of the Bear books.

I love this story and the sweetness of Bear. Read it to my children who are now grown and will now read it to my first grandchild. My 27 year old soon to be first time mother remembered it fondly so I ordered it again.

I adore this book. So very cute. Makes a great birthday gift for for any age.

Adorable! Moonbear wants to get the moon a present but he doesn't know when the moon's birthday is. He tries shouting at it, but the moon doesn't respond, so he figures he's too far away and the moon simply can't hear. So he hikes and hikes to get closer, finally reaching some mountains. He shouts again and this time he hears his own echo and thinks it's the moon replying to him. They have a small discussion and he finds out that they have so much in common!

Thi is an amazing story. It' all about echoing. Everything the bear says to the moon echoes bach at him. The story really appeals to children of all ages. It teaches them about echoes, different voices and especially kindness.

The reason I haven'haven't given an age for this book it's because it depends -for me it was always a book that I read to pre-school children because it's a beautiful fantasy with a happy ending although both the moon and the Bear lose their hats they end up by saying I still love you to each other. It's a delightful book for 3 to 4-year olds when read to them and can provoke a lot of discussion about how many hats were there really and how did they both manage to lose the hat etc. I'm sure some older children would be able to read the book for themselves and would enjoy the story as long as they were still into simple magical tales.it's the sort of book I would keep forever in fact I might order another one for me.

My daughters had this book when they were young, I have now bought it for my Grandson, as its such a lovely story

幼児への読み聞かせ用に購入。文章が短いことを期待して買いましたが、わりと長めでした。 でも、シンプルな会話の繰り返し（くまさんは自分の声のこだまがお月様からの返事だと思っている）がほとんどなので、小さい子にも読みやすいと思います。 お話も、かわいいほのぼのする内容なので、とても気に入りました。

This is a cute book. My 4 and 6 year old kids love it even though they know he’s hearing his own echo. They think it’s hilarious.
