hardware works great and hooked up directly to my old HP 6MP printer which I use to print envelopes and labels. however the software was glitchy and somehow interfered with my other printers. I ended up not using the software, the main reason for using it is to reset the IP address that comes with the adapter. After that I had to manually set the TCP/IP ports on my printer drivers. Worked ok after that, I still need to get my Macs to print. Would buy again as it is the only solution out there.

worked great with our Okidata 320 turbo. We now can use it over the network with all our Windows 11 computers. Helps to know a little about ip addresses and setting up hardware that use ip addresses

Purchased one to test and it was easy to install and worked very well so I purchased another

1 STAR. Not as advertised.This product advertises operating support of Mac OS 8.0 or higher. In reality it is only useable with 8.0 or 9.0 which are obsolete OS. To make matters worse the product csme with a Microsoft setup disk but NOTHING for Mac. I contacted the vendor and got some Mac information which turned up to be useless. Incidentlly it supports only MS OS up to 10. I recommend this product be avoided.,

This print server requires installation of interface server software on the computer which interfaces with it, but it allowed me to use an ACER and HP Laptop with a 15year old printer that used postscript.

I used this Ethernet to parallel port print server to connect my old HP Laserjet 4 printer to my home network. That makes the printer available to most devices that are connected to the same network. I also plugged the printer into a smart plug and use Amazon Alexa to turn it on from anywhere.

Got it , it is working very well with the OKI printer.
