Perfect Fit to Leica Ultravid 8x20 BR Binoculars - MUCH better than Originally-Supplied Caps
Yes, they seem somewhat overpriced for what they are: two little rubber rings with attached caps. But I must say: they are an absolutely perfect fit to the objective lenses of the Leica Ultravid 8x20 Binos - and are FAR better than the Leica originals (which required attachment to the neck strap if you wanted to keep from losing them, plus were "loose-fitting" to boot). These Opticron 30-31 mm caps not only fit just right, they won't get lost - and do not interfere in any way with the ability to keep them mounted when inserting the binoculars back into the case. (And yes, they do also perfectly fit the eyepieces - I may have to get yet another pair... ( sigh - :) ).

Expensive but work with correct size
Bought the 30-31 as website suggested but had to return them because they were too small. If you have the Bushnell 12 x 25 get the 32. They fit great.

These fit my new 8 x 42 Nikon P3 Prostaffs perfectly.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Quality. Reviews of other brands said their products were thin and cheap or sized wrong.

Fits Zeiss Terra ED 8x42 (Outer Diameter 53~55mm)
Using these on Zeiss Terra ED 8x42 (choose outer Diameter 53~55mm). The loops that go around the objective tubes are a little loose but shouldn't slip off. The lens covers have a good heft. The fit is snug enough so that the caps don't fall off, but also push on easily.

Purchased as lens covers for Leica Ultravid 8x20 binoculars and Leica Monovid 8x20 monoculars
I bought these as objective lens covers for my Leica Ultravid 8x20 compact binoculars. They are a good fit and work on the eyepiece side as well. The Leica's come with eyepiece covers, but they must be used either loose or attached to the strap. I prefer to keep these as pocketable as possible, so I don't use the strap. So I'm getting an extra set to use on the eyepiece side as well. Note, however, that using them on the eyepiece side means that either they sit a bit awkwardly on the pull-out eyecups OR they have to sit on the barrels where they will ever so slightly hit the Ultravid's wonderful and delightfully oversized focus knob and prevent the binoculars from fully folding up (it's about a 2mm difference in total). No impact on folding up if used only on objective end.Since the Leica Monovid 8x20 is basically a single tube Ultravid, I tried the lens cover on the Monovid object as well and it's a great fit. Moreover, it's slim enough that the Monovid will still fit in it's leather carrying case with the objective cover left on! My previous solution, a hard plastic flip cover suggested on some sport optics forums, is more durable but precludes the use of the Leica carrying case when mounted. It's also much stiffer and harder to open (it's really designed as a cover for a rifle scope). This Opticron cover is a much better solution for a birder like me.The material grips well to both the rubber armored Ultravid (I have the BR model) as well as the metal barrel of the Monovid.Pricewise, these are a bit expensive, but there's almost nothing else out there at such a compact size.So I'm buying two more pairs: one to use on the Ultravid eyepieces and another to put on the Monovid.
