Highly visible green beam.
Highly visible green beam is great for setting grade and wall layout in well lit interiors at long range. Haven't got to explore all the settings and options, but so far its done a great job. It's great that it comes w a rechargeable battery pack, regular battery pack, and also works while plugged in, so you're never left with a dead laser and fighting charge times.

The tool itself is fine, but a very MAYOR annoyance is that the remote control can not turn off the device. This is so annoying at a real jobsite that I sold it after a few weeks.

Green Laser not worth it
Bought this unit specifically for the Green laser. Seeing the laser vs. using the sensor would save considerable time during layout. Unfortunately the laser just isn't bright enough to make any difference at all. The sensor must be used. That being said - Save your money and buy the red one. The unit itself is of good quality, well made, and durable, and just what you'd expect from PLS. I love the unit, but am a bit disappointed that the green laser could not be brighter (most likely due to govt regs).
