Magnetic Receptive Wall Paint and Primer - Black - One Quart.

First thing you need to do is bring it to the paint store and have it shaken, they can not shake it if you opened it. If you opened it (like me) get a stirrer for your drill and blend for a couple of minutes

It worked as we expected. We di put 6 coats on to get the pictures to stay well. I recommend pre sanding your surface.

This paint did great. I used about 6 coats. But it still only holds light magnets. Heavy ones just slide down the wall. Is possible to hold 1 paper up by a big flat magnet. But mostly for alphabet letters for children, probably be best.

I didn't know about this product until someone told me and it works perfectly for our instructor board that changes constantly

This product was easy to use and came in great timex however after 2 coats as advised the magnetic attraction was so weak I could barely hold up a piece of paper with a light weight magnet. This weak attraction exists even prior to any coats of chalkboard paint I had planned to paint over top. Ultimately this was a waste of time, effort, and money to use.

It took a couple of coats, but it works well!

The paint was too chunky, I emailed the company and told them it was chunky, didn't hear back from them. And the little I did try, didn't work at all. Not worth it guys, don't get it. But message me if you know a better one that actually works!

It was just too hard to get it to smooth out. It’s like using a paintbrush to level out cement. It does hold magnets, after you’ve painted 4-6 coats. I found it was easier to buy a think steel plate and screw to the board, than it was to paint with this.
