There are very few foods I can use straight out of the can without fussing over them, and Bush’s Baked Beans are one of them. I always keep a can in the cupboard to serve with turkey burgers, hot dogs, or pork ribs. When I want to make them a little fancier, I add brown sugar and bake them in individual ramekins. Since I’m usually cooking for two, we always have leftovers with the 28-oz size, which I use within the next few days as a snack or an easy side for another meal. Bush’s offers several flavors, but I always come back to the Original.

I'm what you could call a "baked beans connoisseur" These original style Bush's beans are truly the best. You can doctor it up anyway you like but I tend to be a traditionalist. Try them and hopefully you can find them on sale👍

Takes minutes to heat and eat!

Honestly, These are my favorite brand of canned beans. I like that the beans in Bush's are not all smashed like some of the ones I use to buy and grew up on. These beans work great in recipes and simmer well in crock pots with other ingredients. You can't go wrong with any of their flavors depending on your mood (although for some reason I keep finding the maple to not be as firm) but try the bacon and brown sugar ones. They are called Country and Southern. Bush's beans goes great with (precooked) ground hamburger meat, simmered In the crock pot a couple hours. Add a can of cooked tomatoes, a bit more of brown sugar to taste, (I like them sweet so don't ask me how bad I am about that, but only add more sugar a little at a time til you know your sweetness level. Mine can go to a cup depending on the number of other ingredients I have in the crock that are more bland, like hamburger) and then add more bacon of course! I actually line the crock pot with raw bacon, cut in about 1 inch squares, and put all the other ingredients on top of it, crock pot it for 8 hours while at work, and then have a tasty quick dish that I get requests for all of the time. The bacon cooks great in 8 hours as long as you have it on high during the process for at least an hour or so. You know your own crock pot though. They all cook differently. Stir when you can and serve. Not healthy obviously, but delicious and perfect for a family BBQ!

Fabulous beans, great taste. A tad expensive BUT delicious!

Habe die Bohnen schon immer in den USA gehabt und mitgenommen. Endlich hab ich die auch hier in Deutschland gefunden. Bush's Beans sind einfach die Besten. Ein kleines Minus: die Büchsen waren sehr verbeult.

Zu den Bush Beans gibt es nicht so viel zu sagen: Es sind die leckersten Bohnen die es zu kaufen gibt. Ich serviere sie gerne zum Frühstück, mit Speck und Würstchen. Aber auch zum BBQ als Beilage zum Steak machen sie sich ausgezeichnet. Wenn gerade mal welche angeboten werden sollte man zuschlagen.
