I bought this serum to treat extremely dry winter skin on my face, which this product did beautifully. After two nights of applying it along with my regular moisturizer, my skin went from being flaky and dull to starting to looking itself again. Unfortunately, on the third day of application I noticed a small breakout on my cheek. By the fourth day the breakout had spread to my whole face causing redness and all-over under-the-skin bumps. I usually only get scattered pimples if I don't take care of my skin-- I haven't had a full-on breakout like this since I was 13. After doing a little research I think it's the benzoic acid (a comedogenic irritant) used as a preservative in this product that's causing the breakouts, since I haven't had a sensitivity to other hyaluronic acid products (like cleansers) before. It's a shame because I thought I'd finally found the solution to my dry skin problem!

If you suffer from dry skin, ***buy an organic rose water spray and spray it on your face before you use this serum.***Apparently hyaluronic acid works by retaining water in your skin to keep it hydrated, so I figured why not use a water that's good for my skin? DRASTICALLY reduces healing time after I pick at my acne (I hate myself but can't help it sometimes). Overall improves redness and irritation. Not sure if this brand if 100% to credit, but I like the sleek labeling and tbh that's what drew me to this brand in particular. Wish I could find an alcohol-free version.

This is great for mature skin that's always been oily, but is beginning to wrinkle and sag. My face still breaks out quite easily, but this doesn't seem to cause breakouts (some have said it does, but that hasn't been my experience). I did find that after Asherwood contacted me and instructed me to use it on skin that had just been washed with warm or lukewarm water and was still damp, that it worked a lot better.I apply it just after I get out of the shower and before I dry my face, neck or chest, and I don't do anything else for 5 minutes, and then apply whatever else I'm going to put on those areas. That works well. When I was just rubbing it into the areas without washing first or waiting a few minutes, it didn't work nearly as well.I use it on my face, especially on drier areas like under my eyes and on my upper lip and lower forehead, and also on my neck and chest, In my experience, this isn't a moisturizer, and probably doesn't work nearly as well if combined with moisturizers. Their instructions say you should let it sink in for 5 minutes before applying moisturizer.

I have only used this product twice, but I already notice my skin looking better! The last few weeks I have noticed my skin looking dull, gray, sunken in, and I just looked ghostly and sick! Using this last night before bed, and first thing this morning, my skin actually looks alive and awake again! I wish I had taken before pictures, but I honestly didn't expect to see a difference for at least a few weeks! I already want to buy a backup because I'm afraid of running out!! (Will update after 6 weeks use)

I was so excited to try this because of the good reviews and the quantity/price deals. I’ve tried many hylauronic acids and this was a huge disappointment. This product feels great when you put it on, but within 30 seconds dries up leaving your skin dryer than before. Usually once it dries you can feel it absorb and sink moisture into your skin. I’m very confused as to all of the great reviews, I had my friends try it and they experienced the same thing as me. The reason they can get away with the 8oz size for $30 is because this is VERY cheaply made. I would recommend trying Drunk Elephant’s version of this or Amara Organics (both are all organic and all natural - very hydrating and worth the price)
