Zen Water Systems Replacement Water Filter Magnetic Spigot

We do not have electricity or other "amenities" as we live in the "bush" of Alaska. We catch rainwater and this not only filters vegetable matter but the soot from our wood stove. It tastes great and is easy to clean. I usually fill it before going to bed at night and once or twice during the day. The more water in the top, the faster it filters. We're sold!

I bought this so I would have it when the one I am using now fails. I have had my water system for more than one year and will NOT use this until I need it.

Great filter but would be even better if spout more durable. It may have just been this unit? We have 2 and love them! Great filters. Would recommend.

Yet at this price I added it to the Crock for the Zen 4 gallon Water Filter System. Flow is very slow so I keep a gallon in the refrig as well a gallon by the Zen for beverage and cooking needs.

This is a just in case order. Love my water filter and I like to have back ups. The prices on these items. The filters and stage filters. So I just get back ups

I have had this water filter for almost four years now with very few problems... then my spigot broke - four years of heavy every-day use is not bad I figured, so I ordered the replacement, and installed it thinking I'd get another few years out of it. It broke within 4 days (the silver handle broke off). The company provided me with another replacement at no cost, and this one broke within 24 hours. This time, the threads stripped so there was no seal and water was just pouring out around the spigot. I got wise and ordered this one: Boroux Stainless Steel Spigot. Not only is it not broken, but it is superior in many other ways. I highly recommend the Boroux Stainless Steel Spigot over this product. Sorry Zen :(

Works well but is plastic so can't be rough on it.....

It functions as a replacement for the one that broke. 2 months with no problems so far.
