smoooooth and moisturizing
LOVE this oil!!!! It is so smooth, soft and moisturizing! It does not leave you feeling greasy at all, absorbing into my skin. The scent is very nice and not overwhelming. I would definitley buy it again.

Seriously inlove--Thank you Shea Terra for this amazing product!
I have combination skin that is acne prone. I use Retin A and when I am on it my skin is super sensitive (I use it on and off since you're only supposed to use it for 2 months at a time--read up on it, most doctors won't even tell you this information, but it harms your liver tremendously if you use it for more than 2 months at a time). Anyway, regardless of whether I am on Retin A or not this oil is perfect for my skin. One squirt is enough for my whole face. I usually put a moisturizer on top of it after it's been absorbed (about 5 minutes). I also use this on my body: 1 pump of my lotion + 1 pump of argan oil per each body part and my skin has never been so soft and smooth before. So far I've only used it once in my hair after swimming in a pool at a BBQ. I put a squirt in my hand and ran it through my hair as best I could and focused on my ends. I did that several times and when I shampooed my hair it didn't feel stripped like it usually does after being in a highly chlorinated pool all day. I've also noticed that my cuticles and hangnails are significantly dimished...Usually I have a TON of hangnails that I pick at (gross I know), but since I don't have anymore hangnails there is nothing to pick at, so my hands look great! What can I say...this stuff is amazing! PS--I also purchased a few other brands of argan oil on here and they were all rancid. This is the only one that I received that was organic, cold pressed, and fresh.

Great for my sensitive skin
Update - 11/27/12 I ordered a second bottle and this one is very smooth. It also has a dropper lid instead of a pump, which works much better for this thick, creamy oil. I am still using it as a face moisturizer, and while my skin hasn't become perfect, it stays moisturized without adding awful chemicals to my skin, which I can't say for most other moisturizers. ************************************************************************************** I've had this tamanu oil for three months now. I got it because I have very sensitive skin and it's natural and organic. The consistency of the oil has always been odd to me. It's oily but also grainy. Since this oil comes in a bottle with a pump, and the graininess clogs the pump, making it ineffective, I'm hoping mine is a fluke. For anyone else who's tried it, was it grainy for you? Using it to moisturize my face after a shower, it leaves tiny bits of the graininess all over my skin, which I have to wipe off once the oil's absorbed in. I don't like that part because it looks dirty and I wonder how much of the oil (& my money) is wasted in clumping/graininess. Still, I really like this oil and am willing to give it another shot to see if the graininess is atypical. Why I love this oil: I cut the tip of my thumb with a mandoline 5 days ago. It was fairly deep and in a slit/"v" shape. Gross, bloody, and painful. I used neosporin on it with a band-aid for the first 3 days (cleaning & changing at least 1x/day) with little change in the size of my cut and left it bare yesterday. Last night, I decided to try a little tamanu oil in place of neosporin. This morning, it looks like either side of the cut has begun growing back together so my thumb doesn't look like it's splitting in half down the middle. I am impressed. That's enough reason for me to buy another bottle once this one runs out. If the next bottle is grainy, I'll just return it and try another brand.

very nice argan oil with problematic packaging
After trying and loving a sample of Acure's argan oil, I went looking for a larger bottle and debated for an embarrassingly long time over which brand to order. I really like Acure, but the bottle is frosted glass and I prefer dark amber bottles to protect against light damage. I ended up with Shea Terra because it had overall positive reviews, is from a trust-worthy company, comes in a dark bottle, and at less than $20 for 2 oz on Amazon, the price is an insane steal. I just received my bottle, so I've only used it once and can't attest to long-term results, but my first impression is mostly positive. The oil is slightly thinner and clearer than Acure's, and to be honest I prefer the more plush, viscous texture of Acure's oil, but they do seem to sink into skin and moisturize the same. Both have a slightly odd smell, which is normal and desired for argan oil - to me it smells a little rubbery. Shea Terra's scent is slightly milder and less noticeable, if that sort of thing bothers you. My main complaint, and the reason for the 4 star review, is the packaging. I hate the pump. It's very difficult to control how much oil comes out, and pretty impossible to dispense a very small amount like you could with a dropper cap. I thought maybe I could just switch the pump cap out for a dropper, but nope, the cap doesn't come off. That's also problematic because once you get down to the bottom of the bottle, there's going to be quite a bit of oil left inside that the pump can't get to. So overall I'm happy with my purchase, but I think when I finish this bottle I'll probably just purchase the Acure oil (which I do like just a bit better) or try to find something else that comes with a dropper cap.

Pure, Potent, and Excellent Quality
Shea Terraโs Egyptian Black Seed Oil is incredibly high quality. Itโs coldโpressed, extra virgin, and you can feel the purity from the very first use. The texture is rich, the flavor is authentic, and it blends beautifully into wellness routines. A fantastic allโnatural oil for daily support.

leather face is gone
I've tried almost every skin cream on the market for wrinkles and hyper pigmentation. I decided to give this a try as there were some good reviews and it didn't break the bank like some drugstore/ department store brands can. It doesn't smell nice, but it's not awful. Just very green like a natural product should. First night I used this I had been at the beach, I was wind/sun burned and my face was very red. By the next morning I was normal color and not tight or itchy feeling. I also should add that I wasn't greasy, even after applying it just goes right into your skin. It's been a week and still I'm not overly oily. I also do micro needling, and this is a great product for afterwards! It heals the micro holes over night and any redness is gone by morning. My wrinkles look smoother (more plumped not so deep) and my skin is getting a nice even glow. I really like this stuff, and it feels good knowing what exactly I'm putting on my skin as opposed to store brand creams/lotions where I can't pronounce half of the ingredients. I would recommend this product :)

applied my makeup and everything seemed fine until the evening
Let me just say...OUCH! I recently purchased this item and tried it the very day it arrived. I mixed/diluted it with jojoba oil which I recently purchased as well, applied my makeup and everything seemed fine until the evening. My face was slowly getting itchy and uncomfortable as the day went on but not unbearable. When I began taking off my makeup, my face started getting even more irritated but it calmed down once all my makeup was off. Like a dummy though I applied more tamanu oil (diluted with more jojoba oil) and a few minuted later, my face was unbearably itchy, red, and on FIRE! I couldn't get the pain to stop even after rinsing my face thoroughly and many times! It was burning so bad! All night my face felt completely uncomfortable and it wasn't until I washed it the next day that I started to feel a little bit better. It took another full day till the pain, irritation, and burning was gone. I must have gotten some on my ears because they were the most itchy of everything and looked as though they had hives on them. I'm pretty sure I had an allergic reaction to this oil and this is coming from someone who's not allergic to nuts (this oil comes from a nut) or much anything else. I was a big red-faced ball of burn! It hurt so bad! Also, the pump didn't work like at all. The oil was so thick and gooey. I should have known from that point. I don't even know if what I bought was what I really bought. Trust your gut people! Oh and I know for sure it wasn't the jojoba oil because I'm still using that today and it works wonderfully! It actually helped soothe my skin after the allergic reaction. I just wanted to tell you all this so that you take precautions in buying something your skin is not used to having on it. Heed this warning and beware of who you are buying from. Don't believe all the hype and be careful with new skin products. Amazon was very cooperative with my return/complaints however. Great oil
This is a great oil for my skin. I find that different batches smell differently and that's OK. The oil still works great.
