Work great
Work great, pairing was a pain for 2 sensors. However the 4 other ones (same kind & brand) paired easily!!! I have a total of 6 sensors in my home.

Room Sensors
Theses sensors measure air temperature and humidity and also have motion detection. They’re very easy to setup unless your thermostat is defective, which mines was. Fortunately, my installer returned and replaced my thermostat, but not after I spent many hours frustrated trying to figure it out on my own, and then a technician spent nearly two hours troubleshooting. I finally called customer service, and after being placed on a hold a few times, they determined it was defective. As a result, my installer came back and tried to troubleshoot again before finally installing a new thermostat. The sensors were immediately recognized and it took less than 10 minutes to add 4 sensors. I installed sensors in four rooms outside the room with the thermostat (living room), and I can easily check the temps for each room using the app, which is also very easy to setup. When set to active, the priority is the room with motion. The default is the room with the thermostat, when there’s no motion and when set on “away” on the schedule. I work from home so prefer to prioritize the room I’m actually in, especially since my office is usually warmer or colder than the rest of the house. The issue with my defective thermostat was getting an error that it could not enter enroll mode. There was zero guidance online, which is why I’m mentioning it. Despite my initial frustration, I’m glad I decided to keep trying and finally got it to work. These sensors have definitely help create a more consistent temperature throughout my home and always comfortable where I actually am, but it can result in the a/c or heater running longer to reach lower or higher temps seems temps can vary throughout the home.

Great for creating an good average temp for your house
When you use this with the honeywell thermostat t9 it creates an average temp between the 3 when all selected. This also keeps the room your in just right. If your like me and have a warmer side of the house far from the ac this is for you. It also reacts to motion, sense humidity as well. Once you install give it at least a month and you can see your average temp on the app and customize or the app is ok not too bad. It's very accurate if 70 was a normal temp for yiur house it may be around 74 now. Great item. My buddy dose ac install Said this was the brand he used not the t9 thermostat now he's looking to upgrade to this thermostat .

Use with the T9 Thermostat
These sensors are very straightforward and easy to understand. They are for use with the Honeywell T9 thermostat, very simple to place, pair, and name. They use 2 AAA batteries and are supposed to last one year minimum. Just follow the easy-to-follow prompts on the T9 setup display, pair only one sensor at a time, and they work accurately. They can be set for either time or motion activation. The only thing I question is the double-sided tape wall mounting...I had one fall from the wall, 5' onto the tile floor, 20 min after placing it on a just-cleaned wall. I'd rather use a flat-headed screw for security. At $40, I'd hate to replace one because the tape didn't hold!

Boxes previously opened, only one set worked with my thermostat.
The boxes had previously been opened, thats not really that big of a deal. I ordered 2 sets and one set was the newer model (C7189R3002) that works with my thermostat. The other set was the old generation (C7189R2002) that does not work with T10+ thermostats manufactured after autumn of 2024, it was also missing a wall plate for one of the sensors from this box. Check your model numbers if the sensors will not connect to your thermostat.

Great if they work
Only one worked out of the box. If it doesn’t connect at first, don’t wait to return it thinking you will figure it out later. You won’t. It either works right out of the gate or it doesn’t. Love the system, sensors work great for managing temps across the house. Will be replacing these from somewhere local so I don’t have to deal with returning broke ones again.

Great sensors if you don't have compatibility issues!
These are great sensors; i have a couple working at home and they are accurate and have very good battery life. Why the 1 star? Because you need to know that the Honeywell Home Thermostat ecosystem has series compatibility issues. I have an "older" (2024) thermostat, which is series 1 (this can be seen as a sidewise "1" after the model number) with which these sensors DO NOT WORK. The product description needs to be updated to emphasize that. If you need the older model, you'll have to buy directly from Honeywell. Oh, and if you want to return them, don't expect the usual smooth return policy. I had to shlup over to some remote location, and i didn't even get the full refund amount. Amazon seriously screwed this one up.

Very useful for montoring room temperatures
My house has some rooms at the end of the duct line and after fitting theee I found out that some rooms are 2-3 degrees cooler or warmer than the temperature at the thermostat. Now I am Able to set the temperature better so get no more complaints of warm or cold rooms

I bought this because I wanted to make sure my baby’s room was the right temperature. I can also prioritize the thermostat to his room with this sensor, making his room the perfect temperature every time. If you put the sensors in multiple rooms you can even set the thermostat to be based off the average of the two rooms. It’s great! I want one in every room! It’s also very easy to install, it comes with the 3M tape and is very sturdy. I haven’t tried removing it yet but I don’t think ill ever have to!

*****Update***** I bit the bullet and ordered a 2 pack and a single, hoping I'd get the right version this time. In both the 2 pack and single pack, I got version 2, which turned out to work with my version 3 of the Honeywell T9 WiFi system. I now have 4 sensors total placed in different areas of the home and the home is heated significantly better than when I only had the one sensor that came with the thermostat. I am very happy and have marked the review 5 stars. *Original Review, 1 star* Not compatible with version 3 of the Honeywell T9. The two that I got were version 1. They were not compatible with my Honeywell T9. As such, I returned.

Excellent product but with a caviat, if you are a early adopter of the T9/T10 honeywell thermostat you need the old version of these sensor that the model is not visible on the box, the only way to see it is in the sensor itself where the batteries goes. Model Number C7189R2002. The newer model C7189R3002 doesn't work with older thermostat and vice and versa for newer models T9/T10 from my understanding. Amazon should reflect it in the listing what they are selling has to return two pack of the newer version.

Makes the best thermistat on the market even better. You can add these for different zones/rooms or add it as a differential between the thermostat and the sensor. Great stuff. Meshes well with google home too
