Mighty Max Battery 12V 75Ah SLA Battery for Wayne ESP25 Back-Up Pump

I give it five stars because it arrived before the due date, packaged well. It hooked up easily to my Wayne back up sump pump as advertised that it would do. It came fully charged and when we tested out the backup pump everything worked as it should and the battery kicked in with no problem. I can't say any more than this at this time, and honestly hope that I never have to say anything more! It is difficult to write a review about a product that you purchase in hopes that you never ever had to use it! However, I feel secure now that my basement is protected by the whole system and by this battery that was less expensive than the others I looked at and works very well with the system I purchased.

I bought this battery for my backup Wayne's sump pump. The battery held its charge for only about 4 1/2 months. Not very satisfied that is all the longer it lasted. I contacted Mighty Max and they told me to give it a good charge. It has held a good charge. I would definitely buy again and recommend this battery.

Fits in Wayne sump pump battery box and works well.

I've been using this in my boat as an auxiliary battery to run 2 amplifiers (totaling around 1200 Watts). On long days I usually break out a 50 watt solar charger for peace of mind, but it hasn't died on me yet. I've pulled it out and brought it home to charge fully, just once, in 11 trips. I don't expect it to last through too many seasons. I expect the extremely hot storage temperatures aren't easy on the battery, but so far so good. **EDIT 7-2-2018** After 2 years this battery is still performing well. That's relatively impressive considering it's been stored in a boat in Alabama for 2 summers and 2 winters. And considering it's been discharged to 0 at least twice. Probably under 50 percent SEVERAL times. But I've only needed to charge it 3 times with AC. The solar power has kept it going the rest of the time with considerable use. I'm considering buying another because I expect this battery to lose its usefulness soon. it has certainly endured some torture as far as batteries are concerned.

I purchased this battery as a replacement for my Wayne back-up sump pump original battery. I spent hours researching a suitable deep cycle battery that would meet the 75Ah specs and equally important, fit properly in the OEM Wayne battery case/charging system. This one fits perfectly in the case and it is very reasonably priced. Also, it is good to know that you can take your old battery to one of the major auto parts chain stores and get $10 for recycling the core. I am very pleased with the purchase so far and time will tell how long it lasts. The original battery was significantly more expensive and lasted 5 years on standby float charge.

We purchased this because the images show it with handles and it looked exactly like our old batteries that need replacing. We received a different looking battery without handles and it has different dimensions. I attached some images to show our old battery next to this one. this battery is too tall and will not fit our system when laying it on the side.

Actually a very good battery. I bought two of them and the one malfunctioned (which was my fault). The Achilles heel of the product is the cheap handles, which are cheap plastic. Out of the 2 batteries 3 have broken. I called might max to get a replacement and they said they didn’t have any and can’t get any from the manufacturer in China. So I will not buy from them again

The delivery was quick, and got here before the allotted time. The packaging was secure, and it came undamaged. I installed this unit, and it fit well in the battery case. It has flip up handles on the battery for ease of installation. It comes with the hardware needed to hook up the wires. I have a battery monitor and it is holding a charge well. I tested my back up pump system, and this battery drives it with no problem, plenty of power to pump. I have read other reviews that this battery held up well during a 24 hour power outage during a rain event. We will see how long it lasts. I will update if I have any problems down the line, but so far I am very pleased.
