Pluto: The Evolutionary Journey of the Soul, Volume 1
F**.
Can't put it down, like a Bible, digest it slowly and daily. Must have for everyone.
It took me a month before I started reading this book, I believe maybe it was apprehension of what I would learn about myself. Anyways, when I finally did it just blew me away. I actually self rectified my chart because of this book: certain aspects never added up and when I learned about Pluto and the nodes I read the description then the next house description and that one was spot on! I moved my birth chart and it added clarity to other aspects that didn't make sense like my ascendant and Lunar Nodes. Did the same with my mother. It really shows the subconscious drives and the many ways it can play out in life. It confirmed a lot things for me and helped me to accept myself and understand those close to me better. It's great in that it allows you to face your shadow side and bring into the light, bring awareness to those things you may not have been aware of. I can't put it down, the two times I've shared with others Its blown them away with its accuracy. It's peaked the interest of of people in the workplace that months ago laughed at astrology. Even if you can't understand how it works, people are so desperate to find guidance, direction and awareness that if you can find your Pluto house placement and read the chapter of that in the book, you'll get just that, if you are unsure of correct birth time read the chapter before that or after that or read all of them until you find the one that without a doubt describes your journey so far.

Highly recommend for those who wants to know more about astrology ...
Absolutely enjoying this book. It is next of Jeff Green I've got after Volume II. Highly recommend for those who wants to know more about astrology from alternative perspective diving into the Soul.

useful
This is my first foray into evolutionary or karmic astrology. Jeff Green is highly thought of, so I decided to go with him. Since this is the first one I've read, I don't have anything to compare it to. It works with the sign and house position of Pluto as the representative of the "soul's journey" and the nodes of the Moon, showing past karmic dealings (South) and the karmic duty in this life (North). Pluto is discussed in all the signs and houses. I think the book will be helpful. I gave it only four stars because I think the language is unnecessarily high flown at times. I have always found this to be true of Green.

Where is Pluto in your natal chart ?
Very informative and understandable. A delicious read if you are interested in how this wondrous planet effects your life.

Read this!
Excellent read. One of the few contemporary social theorists and astrologers with unique ideas and deep knowledge. I read this to fill in the cracks after all other astrology books leave me wanting and I am not disappointed.

This book is essential to my astrology practise
I consider this book like a bible for my astrology practise . I do not really deal with the fluffy light weight aspects of client astrology like relationships etc. Most clients that come to me seem to have a big Sun Pluto story so it has changed everything. I also have my own Pluto Sun astrology and it helped me piece so much together of how I ended up under such challenging conditions.

It's just outstanding material
This is truly an amazing book. Obviously I have quite a few authors, like Steven Forrest and Maurice Fernandez that are part of my references. I like them all and they are each to his own, but all helpful and enriching. This is excellent material although not for a beginner, in my opinion, who should go with Steven Forrest's The Inner Sky and Maurice Fernandez's Astrology and the Evolution of Consciousness.

Disappointed
It's fair -- However the author treats interpretations of Pluto in the Signs and Houses simultaneously (ex: Pluto in Leo and 5th house) rather than separately. To me it just means they cannot tell the difference between both signs and houses, and therefore their opinion is not to be taken so seriously on the subject.
