trendy design, easy to use
I love this! The color is perfect, just as it appears online, not too dark but a nice bright aqua and white. The back has a grid to follow to cut straight lines just like contact paper. I used it to cover the top and seats of a cheap little table from Ikea. Turned out amazing! When I got it crooked as I was placing it on the table top, it was easy to peel off and replace. I am not sure how long after sticking you I've and re-stick but immediately after it was easy. It folded over and stuck to itself one and I thought I'd have to throw that piece away but I was able to pull it apart. Very thin but so far durable on a little kid's table and chairs! Easy to peel backing, sticks well, and easy to smooth bubble even after sticking down. Be careful to place on a solid background or you will see through whatever is under it. I used a large piece to cover the sides of a three dollar orange bucket from a home improvement store and you can see the writing on the bucket through the vinyl. Oh well, it still looks better than it did! I am just using it as a diaper spray pail in the bathroom so who cares.

Great but a little tricky to line up and place properly - ideally a 2-person job
We bought a near-new house and wanted to keep the kitchen/bathroom cabinets and drawers protected from moisture and whatnot. These rolls are great! But keep in mind, if you're buying a patterned one (especially the herringbone one), it's a lot of work to get it cut and lined up right. :) It's easy to cut, not so easy to place. Here's what I found to be helpful: after you cut the size you want, unpeel a little bit from the backing, line up the entire sheet, then just press that one small sticky part down, and slowly unpeel/press down the rest as you go. (I started out by unpeeling the entire thing and trying to maneuver this big sticky sheet all at once and it was a disaster.) Will definitely go with an unpatterned one next time, LOL. It's pretty though! Relatively easy to pull up and re-stick if you mess up (or even if it gets stuck to itself), doesn't damage surfaces.

Sticky, a little tricky; awesome pattern
I am doing a whole-house overhaul and I bought this "shelf liner" to be used in a manner other than lining my shelves. I decided that my plain white stairs needed a little sprucing up. I purchased the shelf liner and used it like a giant sticker, applying it to the risers (vertical portion) of my stairs. Using this like a decal is much easier than hand-painting a similar design with a messy stencil. I love that the graphic and the colors are trendy as it allows me to add some design detail into my house without making a huge time or monetary investment into materials. If I get bored, or if the design appears extremely out-of-date in a couple years as trends are apt to do, I can just peel off the sticker and go back to plain white stairs. My only complaint about this product (and any sticky-backed product) is that positioning it is a bit of a challenge. It's not easy to get a piece large enough to cover a stair without the sticky plastic draping, wrinkling and sticking to itself. It's unavoidable and is a problem you'd have with any brand I'm sure. So it's not perfect, but that is not the fault of the specific item or manufacturer (hence 4 stars instead of 5). I am telling you, this stuff is great to clean too. Foot traffic makes dirt no matter how clean you try to keep everything. This will clean up just as easily as the paint on the stairs will. Great for sprucing up a small space or creating visual interest!

High quality, cute designs!
This was really cute shelf liner paper, and it was easy to use! We put it inside a glass case to add some color and pizzazz, and even had enough paper left over in the roll to do the inside of my daughter's dresser drawers. I'd say it's easier to work with than other brands, because it was just as thick (high quality) but not as stiff as other brands. It's easier to lay in spaces to test size/shape and it cuts through pretty easily-though I'd recommend a razor or a sharp knife to cut rather than scissors if you're cutting inside a drawer. Super adhesive, long lasting, I was even able to pull it up to straighten the alignment and then lay it down again with full stickiness, and it's lasted for over a year so far with no issues.

Cute!
Nice contact paper! I ordered the graphite chevron. Much better quality than others I have used, this has a good thickness to it, but it could still show through if you are putting it over something already colored or patterned. I used it to line old wooden drawers, one set was natural wood and one set had been painted pastel pink inside. You could still see the faintest hint of pink through the paper (although I lined the pink drawers with the teal chevron paper of the same brand- not the charcoal), but it was hard to notice once they were done. It also shows through a bit where you overlap the paper. I try to overlap just a bit to ensure coverage. This stuff is good and sticky, but not so much that you can't unstick & adjust. Obviously try not to too many times, because it will get less sticky, but I have used other brands that will hardly stick again if you have to unstick & re-position. the 2 pack is great as well!

Looks great, fairly simple to apply
Edit: I'm actually dropping a star for my review. I applied this and mentioned that there were some cracks in between. Understandable, it's not really a wall liner, so I don't expect it to look perfect, just a temporary fix for me. However, the liner has shrunk even more than I previously stated, so the cracks in between the applications are much more obvious to the eye. If you were trying to use this to line a shelf or drawer, there would be a similar result, which isn't a huge deal, but I think something that should be known before purchasing. Looks great. I used this in a rental home as the covering for the wall where a backsplash might normally go in the kitchen. My plan is to remove this when I leave, and not have to worry about scrubbing food particles or grease stains off of the wall, like I have been for the last few years. The main complaint that I have is that it seems to have shrunk somewhat after a couple days of being on the wall. Some of the places I had to overlap the liner because I didn't cut and measure it all the way through (I wasn't sure if I would like how it looked, so I measured and cut one wall at a time, I had potentially 3 walls to cover). In the areas where it was overlapped, it looks great still, but in the areas where I lined it up right next to each other, but didn't overlap the design, there is now a think strip of wall showing. I still have enough of the liner left that I may try to overlap it now (again, to make cleaning easier), but I'm not sure. it's not terrible looking, and it's just barely noticeable at first glance. Overall, I like the design. The chevrons run horizontally the long way, NOT the way it's shown in the product image. I'm happy with it overall though, and I'm glad I decided to do this. It makes my little rental home kitchen look very modern, and it breaks up the all-white kitchen very nicely. I am strongly considering getting another 2 rolls to line the shelves and drawers in the kitchen!

Great shelf liner, Best way to update a pantry!
When we moved into our new house, we had a great sized pantry, but with wire shelves. On the wire shelves stuff would easily tip over and small things would fall through if you didn't have things placed just right on the wires. We bought some cheapo thin MDF wooden boards and had them cut to the desired size at the orange big box hardware store for maybe fifteen bucks total for 8 16X30 inch shelves. Then I just added the liner over the top. Our pantry is not only more useful but a lot nicer looking at the same time. Application was easy, just measure before you cut and then take your time peeling off the back. If you mess up applying, its easy enough to pull back up and straighten out. Definitely smooth from the middle out and it should look great!

Trendy paper that quickly updates the look of bathroom or kitchen
A friend papered her kitchen pantry with these shelves, and I was immediately super jealous of how fresh and modern it looked. Yes, this is what 30-something women with young children do on Friday nights. They drink wine and seethe at how much prettier their friend's shelf paper is. I'm used to only finding dowdy old floral papers and then immediately casting aside the dream of having a beautiful, cheery pantry. It's hard, sometimes...having a dark, boring, blah pantry with paper left from 1961. (Target, where were you for me on this one? I thought you had my back. You did not.) But then this! Gray and white! Chevrons! TRENDY! HIP! BRIGHT! I was very pleased with how easy the paper was to lay down. I repositioned several sheets without issues, and didn't have problems with air bubbles. Just start with corner peeled back, then slowly peel off the backing as you press it down. I didn't use any special tools--just used my hand to slowly smooth any bubbles or bumps out. I didn't notice any particularly strong odors like other reviewers. It had a bit of a "new car smell" for a day, but nothing noxious--and it was definitely gone within a few hours. My kitchen pantry looks so bright and classy now!
