great yoyo for kids and grandmas
My grandson was talking about what the teacher had at school, he had never seen a yoyo before. So I got this light up yoyo and amazed him with all the tricks that I knew. Kind of like riding a bike, it has been many years but it all came back to me. Back in the day I had a wooden yoyo, but this light up yoyo is so much fun. Guaranteed to make kids smile and grandmas too.

Read the review.
Yo-yo is not up to the standards I would have previously set for yomega. The yo-yo did arrive super fast, however the leds are intermittent and the strings were absolutely bargain barrel. The lights when they do work are very pretty however that’s when they do work. The yo-yo also is not very well designed, the weight is off balanced and the small plastic bushing/piece that the string is looped to is nog effective and seems to render this yo-yo not fun for anything other than a full plain throws. Very disappointed. Maybe I should try one of their better yo-yos, then reassess the company I once knew as a kid.

String came not connected properly
Kiddo saw a video with a yo yo and wanted one. Although this is like 17x more expensive than the duncan yoyo I grew up with, it's really not well put together. Never have I had a yo yo that wasn't connected to the inner bolt, so it could actually go up and down. This just spun and never wound back up. Somehow hubby fixed with with some sort of sailor knot. I couldn't figure it out and most people couldn't.

You'll need a lot of thick oil
This yoyo is very pretty. Some of the best lights on a light up yoyo, but it has a fatal flaw. It doesn't want to respond well when tugged back up.It will return, but the action is so random that it can go COMPLETELY UNRESPOSIVE IN MID AIR. BIG WTF! This can lead to injuries. So what you have to do is use thick yoyo oil (lube) in order to MAKE it more responsive. You should never have to do this to guarantee the responsive function. Not only that, I have to use double. The lights are REALLY REALLY cool, but the action is NOT worth the yoyo. Collectors shelf item at best.

Unfortunately, disappointing
Too loose, can't wind it. Very disappointed. My husband loved Yomegas growing up and is quite good with a yoyo. He's extremely upset that his son's birthday request ended up defective. According to other reviews, this is just a poor design. Sad, Yomega used to be a trusted brand.

Yomega is hands down the best
Yomega makes some of the best yo-yos l, bar none. I used to throw yomega back in the mid 90’s and it’s def still just as good. Went with the Spectrum, which is basically a Fireball with LEDs, fell right back into the groove. Considering getting a raider (again!).Quite choice.

For now it's worth what I paid for.
It's a responsive yoyo which is good for someone that's rusty like myself. Haven't played with a yoyo in about 20 years or more. The one I received works and responds well after watching a few videos on how to recall the yoyo and how to put it to sleep. This is not for the competition type of tricks, it's good for simple tricks like walk the dog, the cradle, and a few others. Longest I got it to spin ( sleep) for is about 10 seconds

Not as advertised
Its ok for a very beginner, The strings are junk and sent Me the wrong color. If you get this buy good strings as it will deter a beginner.

LED will fail and bad vibration
Do not buy,. I have over 20 yo-yo's and a number with LED's and this is the first I have had to send back. The led light wire is not good enough to take the spin of the yo-yo and eventually will break (or be broken on delivery which happened to me). If you want want an led yo-yo by the Duncan Pulse (a long term recongised US brand and manufactured in the US not China). Do not buy a this it will fail at some point. Another point is the vibration this yo-yo had, it's unusable even for beginners.

Great lights
Bought for myson for Christmas. He loves the colour and the light up feature. His dad didn't read the instructions but worked out how to attach the string. As my son is 9 he is a beginnier and struggled a little at first but has soon got the hang of using it.

Not very good.
Very hard to wrap cord. And very expensive for what it does.

Expected It To Be Better For The Price.
Expected it to be better for the price, the string wasn't as effective as it should be, it went down okay but struggled to get back up. I bought one from the supermarket without LED lights for £3 and works better unfortunately. :( I thought spending more would be better, but it really wasn't.
