Uten Watch Winder for Automatic Watches, Double Watch Storage Case Wooden

I've been looking for a watch winder for sometime and finally bought this one. The noise is minimal, one has to really get very close to hear "something". I was going to write non-existing but it does. I have had two watches in it for 4+ weeks and they are still going, so I'm very happy about it. One of the watches falls behind a couple minutes after few days' the other one is fine -it may be a feature with the watch. Two minutes clock wise, six minute break and two minutes counter clockwise is the cycle. Given the price, I was also surprised that the box/glass also looks very nice.

Worked great but stopped working after 9 months. No apparent warranty. Very disappointed. Have contacted the company for a replacement. Will update review depending on response. Update: Company responded to inquiry promptly and courteously. Has offered to replace defective unit. I have added two stars to original review based on their response. Will update review once again when replacement unit has been received and I know it’s working properly. Stay tuned. Update #2 Replacement received. Works perfectly. This company obviously stands behind their product and can be trusted. Recommend highly. Five stars!

First hint when I read instructions and it explicitly noted that watch must be fully wound prior to storing in the auto-winder. There is no control to lengthen or shorten winding cycle. Only on/off. Very nice looking container and it simultaneously supports two self winding watches. It does not run long enough to prevent the need to continue manual intervention (manual winding) every couple of days. (My previous winder (wore out) provided sufficient rotation to I could leave the watch for weeks/months without winding) This provides minimum sustainment capability, but is VERY quiet and accommodates 2 watches. BUT you will have to check every week and fully wind your watch. Update after owning several months - THIS IS WORTHLESS other than being a nice watch case. Insufficient rotation to keep the watch alive for 3 days!

I received the product yesterday so this is a short term review. The winder looks very nice and is quiet. When I plugged it in it ran for a very short time and stopped.. i had read previous reviews and they mentioned the same thing. So when all else fails read the manual. The winder is designed to run two minutes and stop for six minutes and reverse diection run two minutes etc etc. The instructions say to have the watch fully wound when putting it on the winder. It seems it maintains but does not wind the watch fully. I have another winder that I have had for over 10 years and it runs more and is very noisy. This seems to be a good product so far. It ran overnight as described. I give it a 4 star because on larger watches > 40 mm est. the lid will impede the winder but if you leave the lid open or prop it up a 1/2 inch it will run fine.So for the short term this seems to be a good winder and a good value.

My boyfriend had this on his Christmas wish list. The tricky part is that he is a watch guru, and very particular about things when it comes to his watches. I myself am not well versed when it comes to this level of watch gear/tech. I did my research, and decided on this watch winder. I wanted one that could hold at least two, functioned well, would meet his high standards, looked high end and matched the master bedroom set. I’m very pleased to report that he is beyond happy with this watch winder. The box on its own is stunning to just look at on the dresser. Its extremely quite. I never hear it while sleeping or while in the bedroom. I was very happy to see how pleased he has been with this watch winder. I highly recommend this purchase. (Rotation pattern: It turns to the left for 2mins, pauses for 6mins, then turns to the right for 2mins. Repeats)

Finally got my two Wooden watch winder for my Bulova Maquina skull face skeleton automatic watch. This watch winder has two power sources one to run on lithium ion rechargeable AA batteries or power adapter. I glad I got the red wood version which looks so much better. I ordered one for $23 & another for $58, going to keep one & give another one as gift.

Pros: I like the look of this winder. It looks like it should be a lot more expensive. I have it on a dresser about 10 feet from the bed and it's pretty quiet when it runs. Cons: the "pillows" that come with the unit need another bigger circumference sleeve. It comes with one that fits over the smaller pillow but it's not big enough to hold larger metal bracelet watches snuggly. Because of this my larger/heavier diver style watches flop around while the unit is turning. The leather or silicone strap watches stay on better since you can adjust the fit of the straps. But even with a leather band, if it's stiff near the bezel/dial like the one that came with my Breitling Navitimer the watch sits tall so that the watch scrapes against the glass of the lid when turning if you close it. So I have to leave the lid open when that watch is being wound. Overall I think this is a nice choice for most people but if they would include another thicker sleeve for the pillow for larger watches and also gave the lid another quarter inch of clearance it would be a big improvement. So because of my experience with this winder, and the shortcomings I've shared I can only give it 3 stars.

This Kranich unit replaces my worn out winder and it keeps my watches properly winded.

Totally not working now…exactly after one year! Disappointing!
