You can chose how many degrees it covers all way up to 360 degrees

can all sprinklers be connected on the same hose?

yes. The pipe has to be cut at the position where the sprinkler is to be installed. The cut pipe is attached to the inline fitting provided with package, I.e. the cut pipes pushed onto the two barbed ends of the fitting and the sprinkler is screwed into the third opening of the fitting. That process is repeated for as many sprinklers to be installed. All this is explained in the guide notes provided with the package. Hope this helps.
