I installed this humbucker on my Godin Icon Type 2 Classic. The stock HB was ok. It had a dark tone which I liked, but I didn't like the way that it blended with the stock Duncan 59b. The 59n blends in nicer with it's naughty sister and is brighter, warmer and quieter. Good decision by me.

Just take it in hand to understand that Seymour Duncan manufactures high quality guitar micos. Everything looks sturdy with a flawless finish. The HS '59 has a vintage sound and matched with a SH4 bridge position gives the best balance. I installed this pick up in this configuration on a Fender Showmaster 2004. I specify for European buyers that this mic is even cheaper by buying the U.S. than in Europe, even with shipping + customs.

Perfect upgrade for my Epiphone Les Paul. Wayyy better than the muddy stock pickups. Great for Blues/Country/Classic Rock. Wired a set of these Jimmy Page style, and the result was nothing short of spectacular!
