Made in USA, Excellent Gripping Power
Made in USA, This is an excellent pipe wrench, we had to remove 12'' sch 40 PVC caps at work, about 500 of them. This thing made it a piece of cake, really gripped them tight and busted them loose. A must have for any mechanic at a water treatment plant. There are spare parts available for purchase, plus: it is a Ridgid, probably among the best in plumbing tools still Made in the USA.

Great strap wrench
This strap wrench worked great. Ridgid did it right. I needed something to hold onto the transmission pump so I could take out and put back in the pump bolts. This worked perfectly for that purpose.

lots of jobs for it
Only Ridgid makes a useful strap wrench. DON'T waste your money to buy a rubber-belted "strap wrench" for anything. I use it all the time to hold an axle shaft on a car in place while I turn the bolts out, or to hold the magneto on a lawn mower etc in place to turn the center bolt out. The strap can be replaced. The strap lasts for quite a while before getting too stretched and worn out to use the wrench anymore.

Old and moldy devices sold here!
While the shipping was quick, the device came in a different color than advertised (silver, not red). No big deal. But the strap was dirty, smelled moldy, had so much dust on it I had to clean with multiple towels and still it smelled dank and felt scummy to the touch. Since I would be using this device to wrap around my body as an Oesteopathic device, a clean instrument would have been appreciated. Especially one that I overpaid for to get the right size.
