Still love it
The series has not slowed down. Riki and Guy try to have a normal relationship but fail. It's awkward and strained. This book breaks down the Blondies, where they came from, how they came into power and how they stay that way. The secret world is revealed to us and it's incredible. Watching Kirie slowly lose his mind and finding out the reasons for his demeanor and his actions are very interesting and suspenseful. The world is filthy, tormented, sexy, dangerous and you want to delve more into it. You can't stop reading and can't wait for the next book. The Midas forces are sweeping through the slums causing all sorts of muck and mayhem. It's deliciously devious and sensual, and captivating.

affordable reprint.
This series is amazing, and forward thinking for my generation. collecting the entire series was an expensive chore [ hard to find out of print etc], but the republishing of the series has made those hard to afford and get pieces available. Its classic and far better than the old OVA , for the depth of characters and the storyline
