Caillou: Accidents Happen (Clubhouse) Paperback – Picture Book, May 13, 2014

My little Caillou fan loved this book and it helped teach her and her sister a valuable lesson.Caillou's sister Rosie accidentally scratched his bike while helping him wash it. Caillou is mad (as usual) and can't understand why she'd do such a thing until he accidentally breaks his father's guitar string. After a heart to heart with his father and Rosie gifting Caillou her favorite sticker to cover the scratch, all is well in the world.Mom's favorite part of this book: it's Caillou without the annoying audio of the TV show.

This book mirrors the story in one of the show's episodes. I know this, because I have to DVR Caillou because my girls beg to watch it ... over and over and over and over and ... you get the point. As far as my daughter is concerned, Caillou is a real boy, and is one of her best friends. She knows this book well, and will "read" it to me (she can't read, but she follows the pictures since she knows what happens). It's one of her favorites. I'm so torn - this character is SO incredibly annoying, and I hate it for that, but seeing how much my girls can relate and love Caillou pulls me the other way and makes me love buying them Caillou books and toys and other Caillou garb because it makes them so incredibly happy.

Cute story told it a very young way for little ones. As a grandma, I really liked it and so did my 3 year old granddaughter who has a little brother so it drove the message home.

My daughter always wants me to read this to her--sometimes twice in a row! (She's 2.5)

All these books are very sweet and written with a great lesson to be learned.

Great book, looks just like cartoon characters. My 2.5 year old loves it!

We love every Caillou book. Own at least 20.

It is alright book. Maybe good for kids who are beginning to read.It is too small as a book, the pics are not great.
