Mantis Tiller Kill Switch Replaces # 479 Fits All Old Style Mantis 7222, 7222E

I suppose there is only so much to be said for a switch . It was a good price best I could find it was delivered quickly and it works and is well made Will add it is the correct part for my Mantis

Worked perfect on my mantis tiller

Switch works fine. I was able to install it onto my Mantis tiller without any issue. The metal tab that accepts the wire connector, as depicted in the current product picture from the seller, is parallel with the switch's north/south action. This is 90 degrees different from the "east-facing" direction of the original Mantis switch's orientation. I saw another product writeup where the user twisted the tab to match, without breaking the tab or switch. I was a little leery trying that, and in any event I could still attach the wire connector as-is. So I left it alone.

The switch on my Mantiss tiller has the connector at 90 deg as is shown in the picture for this item. The switch I received has the connector at the bottom.5/15 eta - I installed the switch with the tab pointing up, works like original.

Well Amazonians it didn't shock me like the old one did when I went to turn off my mantis so that is plus! It didn't come with the little rubber boot on top like in the photo. Its screw pieces for fitting it into place on the handle were a bit odd, maybe more geared for a new style? Anyway I just used the older screw nut and it worked fine.So to clarify it works good, the price is good and its being sold from an American company.(Not sure if its made in America though....)Its a good deal.

Works great on my very old mantis tiller. This switch needed tweaking to make it work. But it works like I needed it too. It came with no rubber tip but the old original fit just fine. This works great and the price was right.
