Great Customer Service.
We ordered this for our son for Christmas. The first day we took it out the battery would not charge, so we contacted customer service (which by the way is only on line.) They were very quick to respond, and asked us to send back the tablet, at our expense. They replaced it with a Kurio7s because the Kurio is no longer being made. So the upgrade was wonderful! Got the tablet out and charged it. Worked great until it ran completely out of battery and we could not get it to turn on. Read the directions and it is not to be played once it gets lower than 5% battery and can not be played while plugged in. We had to hard reset the tablet, and it was only used for a few hours. We sent it back to Amazon and ordered a Kindle for our son!! He loves it. The tablet seemed to have some fun games, and could be connected to the Google play store. Keep that in mine when you are buying this tablet. I am glad that we went with the Kindle Fire. I am giving the tablet a 3 star rating because the customer service was wonderful!!!

Kurio Tablet is great for Kids 4-9 years old!
The Kurio tablet is a great option for kids 4-9 years old. Some preloaded games may be good for kids up to 11 years old. Touch screen works well. I had purchased a Kurio tablet for my son when he was 7; I purchased a second one for my daughter when she turned 7. They both enjoy the tablets and the time limit controls help keep their screen time undercontrol. I also don't have to be the "bad guy" and remind them to turn off the tablet. My only complaint is it does not have Google Play added; I have been unsuccessful in adding this app. Due to this adding additional downloads/apps is limited to the "SlideMe" and Amazon App stores. All in all, a great first tablet for lower elementary age children!

Really liked the parental controls as well as the price
Purchased these tablets for my kids' Christmas present (ages 9,7, and 3). Really liked the parental controls as well as the price. I have a Kindle and didn't want to spend that amount of money on a device for my kids when all they want to do is play games. The Kurio took some time to set to set up. Going through all of the prompts, adding games, deleting games, etc. Well...after doing all of that, the internet fades in and out (has never happened on any other device in our house), the battery dies very fast and it has poor response time when playing games. One of the tablets didn't even turn on! These are being shipped back today! Very sad product.

Give Me Phone Back!
When I first ordered the Kurio for my two boys, I didn't know what to expect. Both boys on Christmas loved their gifts and were more than excited to use them. After figuring out the parental controls and downloading some apps from the Amazon store, my boys won't put the Kurio down. Because they had to share the I-pad with their dad, now they keep calling their Kurios "my I-pad." Because of some of the features, they really can't tell the difference between the two! I like the parental controls, ability to download from the Amazon app store, touch screen features, pin ability, and avatar selection for each child. The only thing I would improve is the screen resolution. Other than that. I'm really proud of myself for purchasing a quality product for a low price.

Nice, has preloaded games but app store platform is expired.
First of all , great seller.. fast delivery!! Overall this is a good starter tablet for small kids. I had bought one of these for my youngest son when he was small and we loved it but now that I have bought it for my grandson..... the Slideme app platform has expired and I have not figured out how to install extra games.

Kurio Kids Tablet...Not just for the Kids.
So far, so good. I read other reviews which had mixed feelings so we purchased the 3 year replacementcontracts. So far we are impressed with the ease of use, programming and construction. As with everything else it shouldbe used responsibly and cared for. I read someones review that said it was a toy, which they are not. They arechildren s computers. Although we have had limited experience they have been greatly enjoyed with no problems coming up as of yet. I want one for myself. Some of the games are challenging even for adults.

Terrible Tablet
I wish I could give this item 0 stars. First the tablet does nothing but freeze up and has to be reset regularly. The sellers claim that this tablet has access to Hulu and Netflix it does not. It has a very small selection of apps as well and not giving access to the full android market even after parental controls are turned off. The biggest issue is charging and battery life, the battery lasts a few hours at best and I left it on charge for 18 hours and it was at 46% now maybe mine was just defective. For the price this tablet doesn't make the cut you can buy a HD Fire or something else and get better quality for the same price. They do have a great return policy though :)

Great Tablet
This is a great tablet to say it is used. We received it in a timely fashion and it came with everything in the box. The only down fall is I had to go on the Kurio website to find out how to reset the tablet b/c it had the previous owners information still on it and it doesn't connect to the internet. I would like to download more games for my children but for now it is a great. They are still learning the games that are pre-downloaded on it.All and all it is was a great purchase. The dealer was super nice when I called about concerns. They assured me that if it was anything wrong with it I could return it within 30 days.Great dealer and great purchase!!!!!!!!!!!
