What is difference between upgrade kit and monster tail upgrade kit for rainbow loom?

Hi! All of the different kits we have gotten have included smaller, all-plastic hooks. This is a much larger hook with a metal end so it is much more durable.

what is the height of the hook itself? is it one inch?

The length of the hook is about 5 1/2 inches.

What does the base do? It it meant to hold an add on or something?

The base is to remove the bottom parts of your loom
