I recently bought these because I wanted to make larger projects, and they are perfect! I used the tape method, so they didn’t warp at all! If you use these than I would 100% recommend the tape method so that the boards don’t warp, that seems to be the biggest complaint, but that will never happen if you just do this. No regrets at all, these will last me a long time!

My kiddos got super into these over the summer so we needed more and bigger bases. These have worked great, love that they are clear and we can see the design, easy to use for a 4 and 7 year old, great size and overall a great buy!

We like these because my son does a picture of pixel art on graph paper. Then he puts the clear over top and can do that design. Possibilities are endless that way. And with interlocking boards he can make bigger designs. The ones we got were a little bowed, but we made it work. Maybe over time they’ll flatten. 🤷🏻‍♀️

This handcraft activity is very relaxing and perfect to do alone or with friends and family. My 12-year-old really enjoys it and finds it fun and calming.

Larger sized boards make it possible for my kids to make whatever their heart's desire. The boards go together although they don't snap which would have been a nice feature. It does tend to bend a little if you need a lot of heat (I circle ours and take it on and off to keep the plates from getting as hot as the beads). After you are done ironing, though, if it is a little warped, just press it under a large book or flat pan and it will go back to its original shape. I used to use Perler boards when I was a kid and it did the same thing back then so this isn't anything new. Still love this product and the endless amount of creative time it gives my children.

I like having the extra shapes because the layout of the beads are slightly different depending on the shapes ie. The square and heart are mainly a regular layout, where the star and hexagon are offset slightly. With these shapes you can just go wild with colours to fill the shapes and make them as is, or we have used them with the free downloadable templates from the Perler.com website and created those pictured. Tree uses a circle, world with the heart, and the recycling sign uses the star pegboard. Having clear pegboards means that you can lay them directly over the templates to make following the pattern a little easier, although it is still a little tricky to see the variation between similar colours, for example the three shades of green in the tree. Overall I am pretty happy with them, they are fairly inexpensive but allow for additional use out of the beads, and seem sturdy.

These are the same size as the ones that come in the buckets and such. I was scared they’d be much smaller, but they’re EXACTLY the same size.
