Excellent way for the whole family to boost your immune system. This came as a recommendation from a chiropractor to help fight allergy symptoms, in addition to daily immune boosting. They have a mild sweetness to them and are easily dissolved in the mouth, no swallowing required. My child loves them and has no trouble taking them. I believe it helped speed recovery of a cold and has kept allergy symptoms at bay. We split the dosage up into 3 sets of 2 tablets and it has worked fine. No side effects or adverse reactions. I am not an expert but I have been told there have been more studies to show that it is better to get consistent doses of echinacea vs the 14 day or so max that was originally recommended. I anticipate using them more often through the cold & flu season months in addition to allergy season. I like the blister packaging as well which makes them very convenient for traveling. They are light and do not take up much space. I believe this will be a product we have on hand all the time. Highly recommend.

As an RN who worked ER for 20 years, I know a thing or two about colds & Flu! First: wash your hands every one or two hours NO EXCEPTIONS, & more often if in contact with " public surfaces" like door handles, stair railings etc. Then: carry Esberitox blister packs of echinacea blend in your pocket. At the VERY FIRST SIGN of colds or Flu - chew 6 of the tablets & repeat when the symptoms begin to return. This is usually an hour or two. Repeat until symptoms are no longer coming back. For ME, the first sign of colds is a scratchy dry uncomfortable throat. For you it may be a cough, or a stuffy nose, runny nose or something else. In my experience, everyone has their own "prodrome" that tells them:."Yikes! A COLD!!" Flu usually hits you like a runaway train. Hence the admonition to carry these in your pocket: NOT in your desk, at home in the medicine cabinet, your briefcase which is back in your office, or anywhere you can't immediately pop these in your mouth. You don't even need water because these tabs are meant to be chewed. This gets some directly absorbed by the enzymes in your mouth and the rest the normal way: via swallowing. Of all the types of ecchinacea I've used, this is the best by far. Ease of use, portability, and fast, fast onset of action makes this preparation hard to beat! One last thing: the Influenza type A which is wreaking havoc this year IS mostly covered by this years vaccine. If you HAVE had this years Flu vaccine, you are likely covered but DO still carry your ecchinacea in your pocket & wash your hands often. If you have NOT gotten you Flu shot - you should STILL get one. This type of flu is gong to hang around for months. Get your shot but know that tho it begins building your immunity day one, the full effect will take one to two weeks to develop.

I have been taking Esberitox for viruses for close to ten years now and it is the single best thing for them. My 92 y/o aunt was approached by her granddaughter, a PHD in nutrition, who told her that she didn't want to see her "die" from bronchitis anymore, which she suffered from annually. Well, my aunt keeps a jar of it and takes them first symptom (very important) and has not suffered a bronchial attack in many years. If you take six of them 3 times daily with your first symptoms you will reduce the duration as well as the symptoms by half or more. If people close to you develop symptoms and you take three of them 3 times daily you are likely to avoid getting sick. I am never without Esberitox and you can Google the subject to see that there is much scientific data on it. The AMA is fully aware of its efficacy but cannot endorse it because they cannot quantify it and it has been used in Europe for some 70 years for bronchitis. If I can pass this info on, along with Metamucil (or eq.) and fish oil for cholesterol, I think that I will be doing a great service to those who read this. Fiber from Metamucil or any source also supposedly lowers risk of many cancers by 25% or more. I lost 4 of my 157 lbs in about a week after starting it and it was all waste. You will also cut your TP bill by 90%. Smart people listen.

Love this product. It is absolutely SUPER at keeping away the colds and flu's. If you feel something coming on, start a regimen of these tasty little chewables. Your cold or flu will never materialize -- it just knocks it out flat. The key is to use this as the Preventative, and not the Cure. You can take it all day long if you already have the cold, and it could (at best) speed your recovery by a day or two, but I've never been sure of that. On the other hand, if you start it before the bug gets ahold of you, there's nothing better than this product to stay healthy. Great product.

I was introduced to these when I worked for Whole Foods Market in Milwaukee many years ago. The rep gave me a sample pack and I promptly forgot about them even being in my purse. A few weeks later, my daughter, who couldn't swallow pills at the time, woke up with a severely stopped up nose and the whining began before school. I didn't have any other medication in the house and then I remembered the Esberitox. I gave her the pack, not expecting them to work at all, but just as a "oh please... stop whining and go to school" stop-gap measure. When I came home from work that night, she met me at the door all excited because.... <insert her deeeeeep inhale through her nose here> Her nose was completely cleared up! Since then, I've been a believer and have them on hand all the time!

It helps boosting your immune system when you catch a cold or before but it does cost more. Over the counter cold medicine doesn't always works. Last time I use it was Feb of 2020, Covid-19 happened since then I didn't catch a cold because less peoples working.

When I transitioned into the supplemental world over OTC meds, echinacea was the first thing I really added to my supplemental arsenal, but it wasn't until this brand that I really noticed them. They are sweet little pills that really don't have a flavor and it seems more like you're eating candy and that it would be a placebo effect, but its not. If you do like it says and pop like 4-5 of them once every few hours when you start feeling run down or a scratchy throat, it will be gone by the next day. Although even if you are full-blown sickness and miss the onset boat, I still take them to give my immune system a boost and shorten the sick time. It won't pull you out of a sickness as easy once its set in, but its still great to take. They sell this box for double the price at whole foods, its ridiculous. Even the box half this size is still more than this one. I recommend stocking up. They are always sold out at whole foods anyways.

I swear by these any time I feel a cold or sore throat or cough coming on. I’m a professor, so I’m exposed to germs a lot, and Esberitox really help to ward off colds, and if you’re already sick, it helps shorten your cold. It was recommended by my pharmacist, and I’ve been using it when I need it ever since (about 4 years now). It may seem pricey, but you get 200 tablets. It’s a great value for how great this works.
