Cometas Por El Cielo

Uno de los mejores trabajos de LORV en la era Leire... aun llorando su injusta partida pero recordando su hermosa voz en esta, definitiva, obra de arte. Un articulo hermosos por dónde se le vea; tanto por su diseño como por el color de su vinilo. Todo un espectáculo que si o si, debes tener, obvio si eres fan de la banda!.

I got this album in the MP3 format. I was unsure about whether I had made a good purchase or not. I had to wait to wait a few weeks to give this album a fair review. And I have to say that I did make a good purchase. I loved almost all of the songs (there were two that I did like, but wasn't crazy about). My favorite song from this album was "Paloma Blanca" (White Dove). It was beautiful, though a little sad. Overall, this album was a great purchase. This album made me like La Oreja de Van Gogh and its vocalist Leire Martinez even more. Her voice really does shine in this album. A Las Cinco En El Astoria was good, but Cometas Por El Cielo is even better. Again, overall, great album and I can't wait for LODVG's next album. Hope it will be even better than this one.

Love it! I've been listening to La Oreja since their "El viaje de Copperpot" and I always loved their music and lyrics. I a couple of their original CD's and I bought this one while living abroad. I guess I was missing some music that made me feel good and "at home". After some years, I still have this CD in my car CD player and I still sometimes listen to it. Love it!

I admittedly have been a fan of La Oreja de Van Gogh ever since my Spanish teacher in college first played them on her stereo, when their "Lo que te conto mientras te hacias la dormida" album had been released, and I discovered my first Spanish pop group, and I loved them. I have been a dedicated fan to their music since then, but unlike some of the other reviews here, I don't find this to be a GREAT album where you will love every song to the letter. It is a good album, and has a few great songs. I absolutely love "Cometas por el cielo," "La nina que llora en tus fiestas," and "Dia Cero." However, a lot of the songs on the album in addition to the hit singles are mediocre at best, and feature a lot of repetition of lyrics and vocals (La, La, Laaa) to the point that I feel like some of the songs lack substance. I'd recommend buying the hit singles on MP3 format rather than buying the whole album. If you're a dedicated LOVG fan like me, and really want the album, get it, but don't purchase it will the expectation that it will be better than their previous albums like A las cinco en el Astoria or Guapa.

I got this after being unsatisfied with "Cometas por el Cielo desde America" which I couldn't even play in The United States (it was PAL) This DVD comes with the ten songs from the concert in Mexico that were also on CPECEDDA, but it doesn't come with the Argentinian "concert" which I didn't care much for anyway. The four Music Videos were a very nice addition.

This is a great combo for LODVG. Songs in the CD are really good. LODVG re-invented themselves and Leire is masterly singing the old's a new 's songs. CD production is more elaborated, with two "electronic" versions of Cometas por el cielo. DVD contains the concert in Mexico, also very good done by Televisa Mexico.

This album is different then the previous albums. But, it is still LOVG magic.... Leire has really matured & blended into the group after a few short years in such a way that she has literally become the face & the voice of La Oreja de Van Gogh. Wonderful album & wonderful group !!!

This is the first album that I listened to since Amaia Montero left the band and I was afraid that it would suck. Nope, it is a good album and very surprising the voice is very similar to Montero s voice. Recommended to any LODVG fan

Un bon petit groupe espagnol qui monte, qui monte... Il mérite d'être connu en France, il fait déjà un carton en Espagne et dans le monde hispanophone. Avec un style bien à eux (on dira Pop rock/world music), des airs mélodieux ,ils ont su se faire une place et vont certainement aller bien plus loin. Moi j'adore !!!!!!!!

This group is a delightful team to listen to, and it saddens me that despite their reputation in so many Countries, they are rarely heard in Britain. I could listen to them over and over again.
