CRC Exam Secrets Study Guide: CRC Test Review for the Certified Rehabilitation Counselor Exam

This study guide was ok, but had a couple major important things missing or incorrect, or which could be improved on. The major issue is that it needs to be updated to include the most recent federal regulations under the 2014 Workforce Inovation Oportunity Act which made major changes in the implimintation of state vocational rehabilitation services. Another important topic this book needs to improve is with regards to supported employment. It implied that supported imployment is employment in non competitive settings only, which is not correct, especially with the WIOA regulations indicated above. Other areas to improve:- fine tune by fixing a few grammar errors- more clearly explaining a couple of tougher topics like operant conditioning- update the name of one stop centers which are now called AJCCs- Correct a number of errors including that counter transference is not only in sexual contexts and bipolar disorder is not a personality disorder. This guide would therefore be best as a supplement to your studying than as your main study guide. There are other books written by professionals in the field that are of much better in quality and content.

I am so grateful to have a comprehensive review guide. It has areas for test anxiety tips, study strategy, and so on. I should keep this even after my certification as a review. It really helped refine what i needed ot focus on . Well worth the money!

I really liked this product! I passed the exam i used this book and flash cards. The only thing not covered in this book that was on the exam is medical information on various disabilities.

Tomé el CRC el pasado julio del 2021 y no lo pasé por 23 puntos; área vocacional. El texto provee un conocimiento incompleto e imparcial, no detallado y no contempla temas que si vienen en el examen. No lo consideren ni como una fuente secundaria o terciaria de estudio. Recomiendo, por otra parte el CRC Examination Preparation.En fin, NO PIERDAN EL DINERO.

I rate this product a 5/5. I enjoy the format of the study guide and how it separates the subjects clearly. One of my issues were that all of the information is jumbled in my head. This helps in organizing it for me. It is clearly written and helps in grasping a better understanding of the knowledge I've already studied in other formats. I would refer this material to other students.

Second time taking the exam and this material is very similar to the real exam, it makes me feel more comfortable for this second time.

So far this is a pretty good book. I am reading through it fast. However, I do have other study material to help aid me. My suggestion is to get the flashcard system along with this book. I just wish Amazon had a combo pack for half the price. LOL Well best wishes for everyone on passing their CRC. Tasha
