The dimmers failed on 2 of the switches I ordered. The switch still works but not the dimmer quits and flickers after some use.

I purchased this product as a result of searching on Amazon for a dinner that was compatible with smart life Wi-Fi control. I even called the number listed and spoke to a representative that assured me it was. I assure you it is not. I am returning it. Also the installation instructions are worthless. The dimming pot also does not work. Amazon Choice? Not mine, hopefully not yours.

This is exactly what you need for your flickering LED lights! Initially, I bought the wrong dimmer and my lights flickered. This one solved the problem! It's not your every day ordinary easy to install switch. You will use all five wires. This switch is like two switches in one. It's one switch wired separately for off/on and bright/dim (I hope that makes sense).

I have installed 10v dimmers from Leviton and Luton in other homes, and recently finished an installation of some ASD (NOT a typo..different company...more on that in a bit) troffer panel 10v dimmable LED troffer lights for a family member. I liked them so much that I bought and installed four of them in my home, but decided to go with this ASL switch because it was less expensive than the previous name brand switches I'd used. Also, I figured that I knew the ASD lights were of high quality, so their switches must be, too....not catching that this was an "ASL" switch, not an "ASD." I caught that the minute I opened the box. Flimsy metal plate, poor documentation, non-traditional wiring nomenclature for a three-way circuit, but rather than wait to finish the job and return it, I installed it anyway as I'd already fished the 10v control wires and removed the existing switch it was to replace. It worked, but when I went to do the dimmer range adjustments, the recessed adjustment plastic screwdriver receiver broke off the second I touched it...didnt even get a chance to turn it or make an adjistment. Now, I can't adjust the range, am stccuk with a dimmer that goes down to only maybe 50% at it's lowest setting, and is at full bright for the upper third of the dimmer travel. Also, the directions mentioned a second high level adjustment, but there isn't one..jist the single adjustment that broke instantly. This is an incredibly cheap switch. It does work..barely. I regret trying to save a few bucks in my own home, and would never jnstall ine in a customer's home. If the seller would be willing to send me a replacement so that I can at least have the ability to adjust the dimming range correctly, I could at least amend this review with some positive notes regarding customer support. Right now, this is not a product or company I will recommend or patronize in the future. Update: The seller responded quickly to my emails, and offered to either replace the product or issue a refund. Since the product had not been improved or replaced with a better model, I opted for the refund which the seller issued quickly. Service is 5 stars. Switch is still 2 stars.
