It's very powerful.
I ordered it because it has replaceable batteries . Rechareable units stop charging in about two years and are junk. This one seems very powerful, I hope I never have to use it.

Great Price!

Great safety device
My husband walks at night, and there are dogs loose in the neighborhood. It was very effective in deterring one that had too great an interest one time. It fits well in his hand, and concealed well in his pocket. You hold it like a flashlight, and there is a lever you push forward to activate the "zap".Easy to use for any adult to slow down or deter an unwanted encounter

Poorly designed and manufactured
The spring for the negative end of the battery is very flimsy and positioned so that it is pushed out of the way when battery is inserted. As a result, the item does not work battery is inserted in normal way and it is necessary to manipulate the spring so that battery is connected and product works.
