great product
durable and work great! love them and save paper towels! Update... I bought these 6 months ago. These are even better than I imagined and thought when I first did this review months ago. I can highly recommend this product and I am thoroughly pleased with my purchase. I just pool a little water in the sink and a few drops of dish soap and hand wash them and they clean nicely. Then rinse them. I have never had a sour smell from them. They dry pretty quickly also. BUY THEM!!!

Watch Out Paper Towels and Sponges!
We ordered these because they claimed to be a good alternative to using paper towels. Read all of the reviews and thought we'd order a set "and live with them a while, then leave a review". That was more than seven months ago, and we're still going strong on the first two of the set of four. These "cloths" (they are thick-ish, like the thickness of fleece, but kind of spongy as well) are as absorbent as can be... if I spill a small or large amount, they seem to be able to take it all-- at least three times their volume; and after they are squeezed out, they absorb even more. When they are totally dry, if we have a few largish (1-2 square inches) drops of water on the counter, we can just use the corner and it sucks the water right away. It was after the second month with these that I realized we'd gone all of that time without finishing the roll of paper towels (that was half gone when I started using them) we had in our kitchen. I use one of them for washing dishes, and because they are pliable and somewhat "grippy" I can get into all of the nooks and crannies for an excellent job of hand-washing of glass and ceramicware as well as cutlery. I don't know how these things are put together, but after more than half a year, they haven't torn or started to break apart despite the fact that all of our dishes are hand washed with this item. The other one is used for spot cleaning spills on the floor... sometimes with a bit of a scrub needed if something was spilled but not noticed until later. Each use, it picks up the debris and sops up the liquid. It cleans with a squeeze of soap and a few squishes in the hand under running water. I saw that the product is marked down and hope that they aren't going to stop making it due to stalled or reduced sales, because if the sales are slow it is only because the product is so well made that it lasts a long time! I still have two more that are unused in the cupboard, and there are a good couple of months' life remaining in the ones currently in use. If you are looking for a long-lasting and hard-working product that will reduce your reliance on paper towels and dish sponges, look no further. The Skoy Eco-Friendly Cleaning Cloth is worth every cent.

These are a great alternative to paper towels
I’ve been using these dishcloths for years now, and I absolutely love them. They’re incredibly soft and effective at wiping down counters and cutting boards. Cleaning them is a breeze, and they squeeze out excess water effortlessly. It’s such a great feeling to have a reusable dishcloth. However, I do have one minor complaint. After a few weeks of use, they start to develop mildew or mold spots. I think this is because I live in a high-humidity area, and the cloths don’t usually have enough time to dry out between uses. I’ve tried washing them in the washing machine a few times, but that doesn’t seem to help them regain their freshness.

I am so glad I found these handy cleaning cloths ... love them!
I am so glad I found these handy cleaning cloths and love that they are eco-friendly - totally non-toxic and biodegradable. They can work like a sponge for cleaning up counters and spills, but I use mine for cleaning dishes. They are heads and shoulders above regular dishcloths, dry quickly, and seem as though they will be long-lasting. Last year, my husband came home with a similar type cloth a vendor at his work handed out. I quickly fell in love with it, and missed it when after much use, it started breaking down. Worried that I wouldn't be able to replace it, I started scouring Amazon and found these. Was hesitant to purchase them at first, but am I glad that I did! Love them, love them, love them, and won't hesitate to purchase more! JANUARY 21, 2016 UPDATE: I use my Skoy Eco-friendly cleaning cloths daily and they are holding up quite well. I'm still using the first one; the other 3 are still unused. I wish, however, that when they dried they were less stiff and ugly looking. There's just no attractive way to display them sink side. That is my only complaint, and why I changed my rating from 5 stars to 4 stars. That said, I still love how absorbent they are though, and still prefer them over standard dish cloths.

You have to try these!!!
These are seriously awesome!!! I hesitated to get them, because I really couldn't see why I would need another sponge, but I'm so glad I decided to try them. They are great for wiping down the counters before you sanitize them, because they're so big and so absorbent, so you can usually get all of your crumbs etc. in one go instead of multiple trips with a regular sponge. They have a little bit of scrubbiness on one side that is great too. After I use it, I rinse it clean and microwave it for a minute to sanitize it. And as soon as I have another big spill anywhere in the kitchen, this will be the first thing I reach for! The pack of 4 ought to last forever, as I've only been using one so far and have three brand-new ones as back-ups. Cook's Illustrated recommends them: "Do thin, “eco-friendly” sponge cloths made from cotton and wood pulp work as well as a heavy-duty kitchen sponge? We tested two biodegradable cloths against a leading household sponge made of synthetic cellulose and nylon. Both eco sponges were far more absorbent than the household sponge. The two biodegradable sponges soaked up almost a cup of spilled water and 1/3 cup, respectively, while the household sponge picked up little more than cup. Both sponge cloths swept up a large pool of barbecue sauce from the countertop, leaving few streaks behind, while the household sponge mostly pushed sauce around. Another plus: Hot, soapy water erased all traces of barbecue sauce (including its sour, smoky smell) from the cloths, while smells and stains lingered on the traditional sponge. After multiple cycles in the dishwasher, both of the biodegradable sponges surfaced unscathed. When dry, this sponge cloth appeared flimsy and brittle, but once wet, it easily swept up spilled barbecue sauce, then rinsed clean in a snap. It is non-toxic, chlorine-free, washer/dryer safe, and can be sterilized in the microwave." I highly recommend these cloths, as well as www.cooksillustrated.com!

GREAT. Sturdy. Last forever. Easy to clean. No odors. Soften in water.
Bought a couple packages over several years. Sustainable, natural, strong, simple, plant-based, soften in water. Prob compostable, if they ever wear out. These were GREAT as cleaning and dish cloths. So great that we got used to colors we didn’t like at all. They hold so much water, stand up to both hot and cold water, and don’t fall apart even with scrubbing (never tried scouring). We cut them into smaller cloths because they worked so well, we didn’t need the full size for anything. No odors, easy to hand and machine wash. No stains except for bright yellow quercetin supplement (like turmeric) that turns everything yellow. But even that mostly washed out. Each full cloth and piece lasted at least a year of regular use, just peeled and faded a tiny bit, but even the tiny peel-flakes stayed attached. We sadly had to give up on these when wood allergies (bamboo, birch, pine) got worse after prob alpha-gal chigger bites. We hope we can find organic cotton cloths that are this strong and helpful.

Soak up spills GREAT!
I love these! They are perfect for washing kitchen dishes, cleaning spills, or wiping up the bathroom counters. They are washable so I just throw them in the washing machine and hang to dry. I cut the corners off the ones I use in the bathroom and leave as is for the kitchen ones, so I know after I wash them which are used in the kitchen. They are GREAT at soaking up liquids. Have ordered the product several times and pleased each time. I don't think they get as smelly as fast as sponges. Very happy with these!

PERFECT.
i hate the cleaning supply isles at supermarkets and i hate housework. When i buy something for cleaning, i want it to be super efficient so i am done with the cleaning as quickly as possible and so i dont have to look for something else. this type of cloths has always been a must-have for me to clean the kitchen counters because they are thick and absorbent, small and practical. they are very easy to find in other countries, but not in the USA, so i had to ask friends to get me some from abroad. i had found some at a Jewel Osco, but the problem with them is that after 4-5 days, they start to rot and have those big horrible black stains covering them. So each would last a bit more than a week, and that was it. i finally found those here, and i was HOPING they would be as "thick" (1/5th") as the ones i need. and they were. Plus the colors are very nice and fresh. No stains, they dry quickly, and they are 2-3" bigger than my hand. they are JUST PERFECT. they would work for all types of cleaning actually. someone wrote they "curl up" when they dry. i lay mine on the counter so it curls up a little bit but nothing bad. but i dont see a problem with that. you need to wet it anyway to use it. i am glad i dont have to use those big extra thin cloths that i need to fold and re-fold to be able to use them. they dont even absorb well, and given their size, where are you going to hang them so they can dry and dont start smelling? can you imagine how many times a day you need to wipe the kitchen counters? i do this all the time for so many reasons, so i need something sturdy. and those are exactly like the ones i had in europe. for all you picky ladies, dont skip this one.

super absorbentes

First class product
First saw these on a visit to America. They are better than any available here and well worth the money. They can be machine washed over and over and last an amazingly long time.
