I got the lowdown on this pancake funnel from the Barbecue Labs. It works slick! Fill the container and squeeze the handle, and batter comes out. You can easily control the size of the pancakes and the flow. Easy to fill. I handled a family breakfast of 8 hungry people without a sweat. Easy to clean. Came clean with a rinse of water and a swish of a bottle brush. Controlled the flow of a thick buttermilk batter OK. The dispenser valve closed cleanly with no dripping. Cap held on snugly. Wide mouth, easy fill. Clear containers allow you to monitor the available cake batter. Easy to fill on the fly.

Dispenser works great and only a tiny leak (I put a paper towel down for any drippings).I wish it was slightly larger because my sourdough discard pancakes recipe has another 4-6 ounces (tends to bubble up and overflow) so I have to leave some in my batter bowl…

Wow! I was planning an event where I would make pancakes for a group of 25+ people and bought this gadget to simplify the process. It was a game changer--it simplified and sped up the process and worked just as advertised.

Best invention ever! I love making champagne pancakes! But when using a ladle to pour the batter, it’s messy. If you don’t have this it will be the best super affordable gadget you add to your kitchen! Use the lid as a drip plate while making your muffins, cupcakes, crepes, pancakes and so much more. Have leftover batter, put the lid on it, it seals nicely! Size is great one batch of pancake batter fits in it. I decided to use it several times before reviewing, it’s still working just like new. Easy to clean up. And you’ll find you can control the size of whatever you are making with now long you hold the lever on the handle. This makes it so easy and faster to make whatever your batter is for. Someone was super smart when they designed this making the lid double as a drip plate. You’ll love this product! Easy to use. Makes amazing pancakes.

I was very excited by this baking tool. The first time I tried to use it, the batter was too thick and would not come out of the bottom. This contraption needs a more liquid type of cake batter to come out; however, there are several flaws in the overall design.First, it is a PAIN to clean. Even if you think you cleaned it the first time, when you go to use it again, you find that a fair amount of the previous cake batter has solidified in the bottom of the spigot. I has to use something akin to a nail file to clean out what I didn't see after my first cleaning.Secondly, the spigot at the bottom isn't designed for every last drop to come out. I had to push leftover batter towards the spigot, and even then, a fair amount would not come out. This contraption needs to be a little more funnel shaped at the bottom.However! This item does an excellent job with having no dripping batter issues, so it keeps the cupcake pan clean.I do have one complaint regarding the seller. When I received my item, there was a note inside saying that if I registered it online, I would have a lifetime guarantee replacement. Great idea, right? I go onto their site, I sign up, they offer coupons for other items they sell. Great again, right? Then I receive an email from them. The email went on about how it is such a wonderful thing for a mother to want to bake for her children when they come home from school. It was more detailed and in depth than that, but lets just say it is a summary. I thought this was annoying because I am not a mother and in this day and age, this could be even more offensive to other people who may be trying to conceive and are unable to do so. I do not like preconceived notions. Sell your bake-ware, do not make assumption, change your email to buyers please.

Works great. Used it for the first time meeting up with the family to make pancakes. It dispensed the batter smoothly on the griddle and was able to put two on it. Better than the old perfect pancake batter dispenser that I had for years. Easy to clean and use. I can even store the unused batter in it into the refrigerator.
