been using this for a few days, i usually use the original putty primer but I'm oily/combination and needed something more mattifying to last longer days. i love the look of this under my makeup (using colorstay foundation & airspun powder) its smoothed and when i went to take my makeup off 14 hours later it still looked great, no separation and only just beginning to let oils through with no touch ups throughout the day. i have noticed i have broken out a little in areas of my face in i don't usually like the bridge of my nose. This is the only product different in my routine and i'm bummed my skin doesnt like it, but it may end up being a special occasion primer for me. i cant give it a bad rating because of my skin. i'd recommend if youre used to the original version but want something more matte

Wasn’t for me sadly, just found it messy and makeup didn’t adhere that well to it. Found it thick and gunky and visible on my skin. Maybe it’s because I use mineral powder foundation - possible it may work better with liquid. Decent size for price though.

Ok I am definitely one of those that never leaves a review but, this deserves to be praised! I have tried many pore blurring products some being ok whilst others should not be sold as such a thing! First time trying this elf one and I am very impressed, my pores seem to have disappeared. Not sure on how it will last all day but so far so good. Will definitely buy more 😊

This primer does what it is supposed to do and leaves my skin ready for the next stage when I'm putting on my makeup. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a decent primer.

Evens out skin tone and gives a softer fuller appearance, thus creating a more natural and youthful impression. Lightweight and easy to apply (a flat soft foundation sponge works well ) Non greasy and stays on well. A Less foundation is required and any make up evens itself out nicely. Works well with foundation alternatives aswell or even make up free. For reference my skin is combination type, am 48 yrs, do not drink or smoke, do not eat healthily though and have have a few scars that look like wrinkles in places! This products helps considerably. Have tried various primers, this works the best to date.

Whilst I feel as though it didn’t improve the longevity of my makeup, I do feel it provided a very flawless finish to my makeup. My foundation glided on and blended with ease and my pores looked minimised. I believe it delivers on its claims to hydrate the skin, as my skin felt very soft and plump throughout the day. A little goes a long way with this primer - I find it works better by warming it with your fingers and applying a thin coating in a dabbing motion as opposed to scooping out a pea sized amount and applying with a massaging motion like with other primers. If you’re looking something to control your shine, this original formula won’t keep you matte, and you would be best giving the mattifying variant a go. This primer will last a long time. I’ve owned this primer for about a month now and I’m only just starting to make a decent dent in the surface of the putty. I can imagine that the tub will last me about 8-12 months with daily use.
