does this gauge work for a 1911-380?

I don't see why you couldn't. I measured the bottom lip of each type of case with digital calipers and there was only a 1/1000th of an inch difference. If anything, you might have to put a little more bend in the extractor, but I really don't think you'll have ant trouble.

Is this a set with multiple gauges, 9mm, .38, .40, 45 and 10mm? Or is it one gauge? 9mm/.38

My set came with two gauges. One for 9mm and 38. The other gauge was for 45 and 10mm.

Place the double-ended gauge between the breech face and the extractor. Hook your 6 lb. trigger pull gauge through the Tension Gauge's hole and gently pull until the Gauge releases from the extractor. The trigger pull gauge shows exact amount of rim tension
