It works, but buzzes unless I touch it towards the end. Contact with the mic is the only thing that stops the buzzing, but you need both hands to game. To stop the buzzing I 1. Tried putting tape on it (fail) 2. Tried putting plastic wrap on it (fail) 3. And finally, as a last ditch effort, tried tinfoil. To my amazement, it stopped the buzzing. Sure, my voice is now muffled, but my friends definitely prefer that over the buzzing. I then perfected my tinfoil mic design by neatly rewrapping the tip with tinfoil, lovingly slid it off the tip, and poked holes in the side that faced my mouth. My friends can hear me much more clearly now, and the buzzing issue is fixed. But one issue remains- This mic sucks!

We bought this mic boom to replace a damaged mic for a "Turtle Beach Ear Force Recon" gaming headset. Plugs right in and works great so far! Plugs into tyrtle beach headphones , twist slightly fits in notches , tricky til u line it up perfect , then doesnt fall out

This was not compatible with my HS60 Corsair headset, even though it is a 3.5 mm. Shame. Returning.

I have a Turtle Beach headset I use with my Xbox One. The mic is detachable, which is a feature I'm not a fan of to begin with, but the sound quality of the headphones is great, so I've learn to deal with it. It was time to replace the mic, so I bought this replacement mic. It was labeled as a replacement for the Turtle Beach headset I have but as soon as I plugged it in my headset the humming began....and hasn't stopped.In my opinion, this is not a replacement for the Turtle Beach headset mic, because after I bought this product it didn't fix my problem...I still can't communicate with a mic.This isn't even close to what I was looking for because I was looking for a solution to my problem, not another problem to add on top of the problem I already had to begin with.Super disappointed

Connected to my headset and worked perfectly! Great product and great price. Friends I’ve played online with say the mic is crystal clear with no distortion.

Although the product looks like great quality, It was the wrong Mic for my son's headset. He was unavailable to hear any sound, I think we ordered the wrong one. Kept it in case any of my other nephews May need it. That's why I rated the 3 stars. Because I can't say that we actually tested it. But looks and feels like a great quality product when compatible with the right headset.
