Good and cheap
I just bought this pump and used it for 3 hours straight. It ran the whole time with no disruptions. For a little over $40, it is definitely a buy. I measured the output with a 5 gallon bucket which took 30 seconds. I guess it to be 9 to 10 gallons a minute which is probably the best you will get from a 3/4 hose. The output connection is cheap. It is the exact same size as 3/4 iron pipe, which will not thread into a fitting. I bought some 1" tubing from Lowes and stuffed a 3/4 x 6 inch galv. nipple in the other end for an adapter. I put a 3/4 x hose brass adapter to connect to a garden hose; Don't forget the hose clamp.I checked the flow with just the 2 foot piece of 1 inch tubing and it filled the bucket in 15 seconds, or 20 gpm, or 1200 gph. A 1 inch drain hose would flow better.

Works great until dying. Both of them.
Worked great for 2 weeks and died. Returned it for a second one and that one also only worked for 2 weeks before dying. Both were pumping about 8 hrs/day and connected to a 24V DC supply. Seems they only have a life of ~50-100 hours.

Glad to be proven wrong
I was skeptical at first about this pump. It seemed too good to be true. i took a chance on it, and Have been happy with the results. We use this on our farm in a portable water station. It is needed to get water to our critters. We use a 275gal water tank on a small trailer to get water to the animals. Our old pump died ($129.00) and so when I went in search of a new one, this submersible one was available. I did have to modify the tank to get it inside given it's base is almost 7" in size. The only concern I had with the entire device was the Hose connection. My connection point was weak threaded so we had to apply a balloon around the neck, and then cut off the balloon this gave the hose connector enough to grab to create a tight connection. The pump advertises a 20ft lift, I can't speak to that as we don't lift that high, but we do lift straight up 6' and then it pumps out of a 50' hose and the pressure is not great, but it does the job.It was worth the money and I plan to by another as a spare.

reasonable pump for small PV irrigation systems
Update: Typical lifetime is 1-2 years of use (a few days per week for ~ 3-4 months) before the cable/housing develops a short-circuit or the pump flange (injection molded plastic) cracks and develops leaks that make the pump ineffective. I've been using 4x 100W solar panels, wired in parallel, to power the pump. It seems like a pump shouldn't be a consumable, but it definitely has a brief life in the context of how long a solar panel lasts.Original Review: I have this pump (12v version) direct wired to two 100w solar panels (wired in parallel). In this condition, I can get adequate flow from the pump. Working conditions are approximately 10-15' rise (head) and 20' of 1" pipe in series with 200' of 2" plastic poly pipe. Under these conditions I could lift about 250gal of water in 30 minutes. Note, a backflow valve is an important thing to include if you're using a solar to drive the pump.A single 100W 12v panel generates a very slow flowrate with this pump. If you used a "buck-boost" or current boosting well controller, you might be able to get away with a single 100W panel. Waterflow above is shown for a single 100W panel in noonday sun.

Not the greatest, rusts immediately.
It works pretty good, but the bolts holding it together rust immediately. Why would they not use stainless!?A couple more cents, really???

Good product
Runs quiet and low power draw. Worth the price asked.

This pump is redicilious!
This little pump is redicilious. It won't die. I have it hooked up to a 100w solar panel with a small charge controller and a little gel cell battery. I set it up on a little pump station in some fresh packed sand and dirt. we had a small tornado and 19 inches of rain come in floated the tank out how the pump didn't break is beyond my imagination. the pump is literally sitting in a mud hole pumping dirt, sand, clay and who knows what else debris for 15 days now. here is the out flow in the picture of it discharging over a 25' tall dirt berm. its still working. out of the box, I immediately said I got ripped off, it looks poorer quality than what the picture looks. it won't die. I've had to guilds 1.5 horse pumps run for a day before they quit in the sand in mud. this one kicks on every morning with the solar controller when the sunlight gets bright and shuts down every afternoon when it gets dark. This little pump, doesn't put out much, maybe 10gpm, but it's a beast, it just keeps going and going and going. I'll probably buy another one.

Update: 9/25/2021. Good flow, but longevity and quality of construction are questionable
Update 9/25/2021: I figured I would give this pump a second chance since the price was so attractive. This time around I bought two of the 24v versions for pumping water from my shallow well and into my decorative water feature. BOTH pumps died within 2 weeks of operation. I believe the pumps fail due to water ingress into the motor casing. I have since replaced them with a different pump which is going on a month without issue. These bacoeng pumps are unreliable pieces of garbage.Contacted the seller regarding warranty and was told there is none.Original Review: This pump has a good flow rate while it works. Was only able to run mine for about 15 hours total before the motor burnt up. I used it to draft water from a shallow well requiring only 4 ft of head. One morning I found my motor controller tripped and in fault; upon investigation I found that the pump motor was shorted out and smells like burnt electronics.Returned product. Will try another modelRegarding amazon review: the review provides ratings for “sheerness” and “thickness”. Which are not applicable to this product.
