Required reading!
With this as an introduction, I joined the kelbyone website and there are even more essential concepts and practical ideas to be had. He is easy to read and listen to which I can’t say for a lot of folks. A+

A must read for wanna-be landscape photographers
Simply put, this is a fantastic guide for learning how to shoot beautiful landscape images. Mr. Kelby is an excellent communicator with years of experience as a photographer, writer, and teacher. You really can’t ask for more than that. I particularly like the way he presents topics in small bites, usually one page per topic, accompanied by photographs of what it is he is describing. I also laughed out loud at how he occasionally drives his points home by repeating important information, hoping it sinks in. For example, on the page 028 “Which Aperture (F-Stop) to Use” he mentions f/11 at least 7 times, to make it clear this is an excellent F-stop for keeping everything in focus. In fact, that is his favorite F-stop for landscapes. Thanks, Mr. Kelby, I got the message loud and clear. He also provides excellent tips throughout that only an experienced photographer can provide. Reading the book I found myself smiling during many “aha” moments when I learned something new or read a tip I can use in my own photography. Bottom line, this book is great - 5 thumbs up - and highly recommended.

Mixed.
There are some great tips in here, but there's also a lot of unrelated stuff (at least for me). It's a good beginning photography book for people who just want to do photography. A bigger part of the book than I expected is focused on making edits in Lightroom and Photoshop. I use On1. The book is really geared towards FF SLR users. I have an APS-C and a 4/3 camera and the tips for f/stops etc don't nec. hold. There's some of the same old: shoot at ISO 100, f/11, use a tripod and shoot during the golden hours. I shoot mostly during full daylight without a tripod. Still, there are many, many useful tips in here. So I give it 4 stars.

A Very Good Book!
Scott is among the very best of the very best photographers out there. His books guide you to being at least good photographer whether you are shooting landscapes or weddings and everything in between. His writing skills are straight forward and written in a personal way. No hard and fast rules, but more than enough to get you out and shooting with confidence. I have several more of his books and they are my "go to" before I head out with my camera.

Useful and Succinct
I purchased this book in 2019 and have used it as a reference manual for landscape photography. Overall I found the book offered several ideas for post processing (Page 150: "In Lightroom, press and hold the Shift key, then simply double-click directly on the word "Whites," and then on "Blacks" in the Basic panel).I also enjoyed Mr. Kelby's sense of humor. It was one more reason why I read this book cover to cover.Again, this is a handy handbook for the aspiring landscape photographer.

Easy to Understand, Smart, and Easy to Apply!
Straight-forward, nuts-and-bolts wrapped in a sort of light and airy manner. I have been a photo-taker for over 40 years and within three minutes of scanning of Mr. Kelby's photographic musings, I picked up two super-smart techniques. Short, sweet, and right to the point, I highly recommend that all photographers keep a copy of Scott's book somewhere near their best camera equipment - and readily open, read, learn, and apply as needed. Brilliant work Scott! Much gratitude, T :-)

Awesome Reference
I wouldn't call this a book you will read from cover to cover. It is a reference. Pick a particular type of photography you are interested in and read that section of the book. Really, if your an experienced photographer, you are just picking up subtle things to do differently that will make a big difference in your photos. That is what happened to me. A couple of small things I did differently and the end result was much much better. Everything you need to know about any type of landscapes to shoot are covered in this book and he give you post processing tips as well enabling you to make great photos. If you want to, really want to learn everything there is to know or need to know, read this book and go out and practice what is in here. Because as we all know when it comes to this stuff, practice makes perfect. Go out and shoot!

Practical advice
This is a short book with useful and concise practical advice on basics of landscape photography. It covers gear, shooting techniques and a little bit of post-processing. If you like Scott Kelby's style - this is a typical book, with subtle humor (whether it's your cup of tea is personal preference) and many useful tips. Is the book worth the price? - it is to me. Listen, if you were to take a one-hour photo class you would pay more than the cost of this book, but this book will remain with you and you'll be able to go back to revisit the tips. This is not a "deep" book, but it is practical with concrete examples, useful links and suggestions. Sometimes we don't need a lot of theory, we just want to know the practical approach.

If you like to shoot landscapes you need this book
I could write a long review but I will not. I've never been disappointed by a Scott Kelby book. This one is no exception. The book is exactly what the title suggests. It will assuredly make you a better landscape photographer. The recipes are worth the price of the book alone. What always struck me about his way of writing is that he can explain what appears to be fairly complex techniques is such a clear and concise way that you get it the very first time you read the explanation. No unnecessary detail, no fluff. He goes straight to the point in a friendly manner with humor as a bonus. He has perfect images to explain every subject. I will undoubtedly repeat myself again: I have learnt more about photography technique AND art with Scott Kelby than any other author. It's strong praise and it's well deserved IMHO.

Brilliant
Step-by-step, foolproof guides that cover the most popular aspects of landscape photography such as shooting the Milky Way, long exposures and post-processing.This book is ideal for beginners and intermediate photographers who want to improve their landscape photography (and I’m sure there are some tips that even the experiences pros will find useful as well!)The book is also in a compact size so it easily fits in your camera bag if you want to refer to it when you’re out in the field.A great book.

Pretty basic, but...
It's great for beginners in landscape photography or those already a little advanced - hence it's pretty basic, but... it's wonderfully written in Scott Kelby's unique style which I like very much. Good read but definitely not a must have and not a must read.
