It is my second year harvesting Mason bee larvae and I have just loved it. Last year I went with one if the fancy Mason bee houses. I felt like it was difficult to work with, so I wanted something more simple this year. This is the perfect size and it's cute as well. I was able to hang it on a branch in my back yard with the string attached to the top (came like that) 💖🥰 It is about the size of my hand and seems very durable! Great product! I liked the design and it seemed to be well made at first. I even had bees coming to it within a couple of weeks. Then came the summer rains and it fell apart. This is an edit to my first review. About a week after I submitted my first review of this bee house which did fall apart, I received a new from the company even though I had not requested one. I thought that very nice of them and the kind of customer relations you just don't see very often these days. So hopefully this one will be fine once spring comes and I can try it out. I do love the design of these and they seem very sturdy. The first one was probably just a fluke, it happens.

It's cute and sturdy, but no bees yet. I have it hanging right by my flowers and veggies. My plants are being pollinated, I see bees all around, but none have visited the house yet.EDIT: After watching the bees around this item and the area for a few days, I've decided to return it. They completely ignore the house, and there are many, many bees around it. Sadly, had to change my rating to only 1 star, based on my own experience with it. I had high hopes, but, for me anyway, it just didn't work.

I bought this as a thank you gift for a neighbor. I liked the round drum design, but it's so SMALL. I'd be surprised if it lasts more than a year or 2. Hopefully the mason bees won't mind.

The Deluxe bamboo bee house was really great! We’re hoping we get new bees to ownership of it.Saw them on a gardening show but opted for theround instead of teardrop shape. It is well made andit hangs on a tree a small distance from mud and a southwest exposure. Makes a great gift for the avid gardener.Simply beautiful!

I love the look of the bee house, however the wrap around wood edging has come unglued. I will have to take a small nail to put it back in place.

We purchased a couple of versions of bee houses to attract mason bees. This one was a little more expensive, but it was also sturdier and much prettier. We're still waiting for some of our many varieties of pollinators to make their homes in the bee house, but it's secured to a nice tree and looks quite nice. The bee house was well made and should last several years. Enjoy!

This bee house is cute and a nice idea, but it didn't attract any bees for me. I've had it up for over a month and I haven't see any bees using it. I don't know if it's because of my area (south florida) or the time of year, but it hasn't worked in my yard.
