I almost didn't buy after some reviews
I almost didn't get this product after reading the reviews but I'm so glad I did! For the size log it is, it's a very impressive flame. It lasted through our movie and then some without feeling like it needed more. As someone who has had to build real fires I can say this is so much nicer and easier to use. With "real logs" I'm always having to poke and turn the fire so it's not dead. It feels like I'm next to it every 30 minutes but with this I was just able to light it once sit back and enjoy! I will buy these again

⭐CLEAN⭐ODOR FREE⭐MINIMAL SMOKE⭐LONG LASTING⭐RECOMMEND
I'm a lady trucker and when I go I smoke outdoors. In Ohio. In the cold, so I never stray too far from the chimnea. I had grown weary of trying to get the traditional logs lit (kindling, lighter fluid, wadded up paper, etc). I simply wanted something that would light quickly. So I spent the money and not only purchased the Pine Mountain, but Duraflame as well. I thought I would compare the two. NO comparison ...other than Duraflame* (*you can read my honest review in detail by searching for that brand) lighting just as quickly. Pine Mountain, hands down, is the Best ! NO acrid odor NO dark and billowing smoke YES it gives off the same warmth as a natural wood log. Why wouldn't it ? As for the price ? Yeeeah, a few dollars more, BUT consider the quick light, convenience, and the long burn time from just one log. Nevertheless, I have purchased more. Enjoy !

Not bad as these things go
They light quick and burn great at first but really putter out at the end(last hour, hour and a half.) Frustrating to have to wait for them to burn out when there is barley a flame. Still as far as these things go they work fine.

Great Logs. Roaring fire.
These logs light quickly (despite what some other reviewers say) and burn bright for a solid three hours. Have burned 3 so far and am more than pleased. Follow the lighting instructions printed right on the log and you'll have a roaring fire in a couple of minutes. The pics and short video here were taken less than 5 minute after the log was lit.

I am generally VERY satisfied with Amazon products
This is the first product review I've written, ever - since I started using Amazon to buy books. I am generally VERY satisfied with Amazon products, and purchase everything which I can from this site. Hence I feel compelled to comment on the unusually poor quality of this product. We have a house in the 'burbs of Seattle, and during the late fall/winter/early spring, throw a 'fake' log in the peninsula fireplace between our master bedroom and bathroom. We've been doing this for nearly 30 years. The logs provide a cheerful flame as we read ourselves to sleep, and go out during the night. I normally buy them locally, but got curious and found an acceptable price on Amazon, so ordered three boxes. Well the do NOT burn. I've gone through the first box. I tried lighting the first log at the indicated points on the wrapper (I've been doing this for 30 years) and the wrapper burned off. I let the log 'dry' for a couple of days, and used some fireplace starters under it. It just smoked and withered all night (and the next day) long. Same results for the second log. For the third through sixth log, I've used a propane torch to light it, getting it going nice and bright. About five minutes after I stop waving the propane torch, it goes out. It does smoke all night and all the next day long, and I am left with a pile of ash. I suspect that the sellers stored these logs in a very damp (outdoors?) location, and they are still water saturated. I've left the second and third box IN the coat closet, where it's dry, and am hoping that I can use them next year. But they've been a terrible disappointment. Again, I think that the product is OK, the seller has just failed to store the product in the proper location. Six 'non burning' logs are enough to convince me that something is wrong. Again, my first and ONLY Amazon review.

Just okay
These burn for the right amount of time and throw off a good amount of heat, but they are hard to light. The paper burns up much faster than duraflame logs do and then they don’t burn.
