I am awe struck by this product! I almost never find the time to write a review (shame on me!), but could not contain myself when I received & used this product! First, it comes in beautiful packaging (padded shipping envelope, beautifully decorated box that simply says, “Happy’, a velvet pouch, a plastic sleeve for the file to protect it in your purse, & a sweet ‘Thank You’ card). After the very impressive packaging, I was kind of skeptical on how good this file/buffer could be since it was soooo reasonably priced. Well, I’m still pinching myself because I can’t believe how great it works!!! It’s a very fine file on one side, & a hard jell (I think?) kind of feel on the other side. I’m not sure if I did it right since there are no instructions, but I very gently rubbed the file side on my nail, & then turned it over & gently rubbed the colored side on my nail, & it was instant unbelievable shine . . . like I put clear polish on! WOW! I just ordered several more to keep in various places (purse, car, office, mani/pedi cases . . .) & for friends to try. This brand comes in 2 sizes, this one (3 1/2” L x 1/2” W) - great for toes, & a slightly larger size 4 1/2”+ x 1/2” - good for hands. I will never use anything else going forward! Don’t hesitate to buy both sizes! (I’m a freak about using the same tools for my fingers & toes - always keep separate, & I find the smaller size easy to manage on toes, & the larger size good for my hands.) Incredible value & results!!! Finally, something that works :) Thank you.

I have to start with packaging. It's just layers and layers of luxury. If you're considering this for a gift, it is already gift gift-wrapped!I have never ordered a glass or Crystal nail file before. I have read up on them, and understand but they are more fragile than your average nail file. I've chosen not to carry this in my purse, and keep it in a hard kit. It is obviously an item you need to treat with TLC. That being said, I don't intend to b**th about it if it breaks due to my negligence, only if it's poorly made.The grit of this file is very fine. I have used it for smoothing for the ridges on the top of my nails, and to smooth out nails after I cut them. This is by far not a rough grit. I do not believe that you will receive anything other than what the write-up says.I'm not going to say "I never write reviews," because it's not true. However, I do write reviews when I buy something that's extremely bad or extremely good. So ultimately, my time to let you know but this is a great purchase is genuine.The fact that is backed by Amazon Prime makes me feel comfortable in my sale. At the time of this posting, returns were not available. Something to consider.

I'm literally shocked how well this works Like, I took 3-4swipes across my thumb nail and stopped to do a double take. This thing does in 30 seconds what it takes minutes and alot of elbow grease to do with buffing blocks, plus it just dusts off and goes on working rather than wearing out. Where has this been all my life??? I have 4 kids under four and this very little free time meaning hanging out for a half hour trying to get a semi decent shine on my unpainted nails is a no go. I ordered this on a whim thinking it was likely hype, but man, I'm telling everyone who will listen about this thing now!!Saw a few negative reviews saying it scrapes the surface of the nail off? DUH. that's how that works. That s how it gets smooth and shiny. Cant happen without removing the ridges that show up naturally to create an even surface, it's friction and removal of tiny amounts of material, not magic. I've got super thin brittle nails, but removing a couple microns of my nail surface is still not an issue.

I decided to let me nails go natural, let them grow out without the divets usually caused by drills when they are done at the salons. Emery boards just left the edges a little ragged not really smooth, clear or nail hardening polish I would end up picking off. I looked for the glass nail files as I used to have one at work, a small one for quick fixes. I decided to try getting one again because they really do leave the nail edge smooth. Extra benefit is when using this nail file to buff the top of the nail it is smooth and shiny no need for any polish and nothing to pick off. Looks really beautiful and feels good too!

This buffer is AMAZING! At first it is hard to use and get to the shine, but it takes all the steps of the usual buffers (3 side buffers) into one. So just be patient, I had to tell myself that because I thought it would be quick. It still takes the same amount of time as the traditional or maybe my nails were bad. Regardless I loved it because the shine lasted WEEKS! Yes, weeks people! Like 3 weeks seriously. So I gave myself a mani and pedi, I use Color Street which is a nail polish strip (like a sticker for nails-also an amazingproduct) and i thought maybe the buff job (aka shine) would be gone. NOPE! In any case, my mani and pedi looked amazing.

I loved the smooth resin side of the file, with the beautiful floral design, as well as the velvet bag and box. For functionality it works well but is very small. I have pretty small hands but I still wished it was a bit bigger overall, definitely longer, maybe with a slight bump on the ends for better gripping? The file actually works for what it does. For the price and the tiny size, I felt the set should've included two in one bag, like a 2-pack. I realize youre paying for the ‘gift-style’ packaging. It does make a nice gift. Ive only quickly tried it so I cant speak for its longevity or quality.
