Oregon 198-049 Blade

I've purchased many different blades a lot of brands, all blades come with a thick coat of protective paint, this coat protects the edge while shipping, also helps with durability while using it. Every time that I get a blade I like to scrape off this coating from the edge and you are all set. I've never seen a blade that wouldn't come without this coating. I am really happy with this Oregon blade. I installed on my self-propelled Craftsman and works great, no vibration and balanced, for this price it's a bargain.

These blades fit my 42"' cut Poulan Pro. The price was right and shipping prompt. Seem to cut and offer good suction. I don't know longevity since I just got applied the blades but am satisfied.

This blade fit perfectly on my Craftsman push mower. My mower is mulching better than ever because of this blade. Thank you!!!!

I will update review if these blades do not last as long, or stay sharp as long as other blades. They are starting with a five (value for the money). I have five mowers and only three yards to mow right now.

I love this blade. It fit my Troy Built 15 year old lawn mover perfectly. I immediately noticed better cutting and mulching. This product came from Ireland and was in transit for several weeks, but actually arrived earlier than the promised delivery. This is a quality product at a good price.

Cuts excellent right out of the package.

It fits and works good. Has the correct mount hole that I needed. Plus it's cheaper than getting my old blade sharpened.
