Excellent flavor, quality, and quantity. I ground one whole nutmeg and used it for pies-its so fragrant, and fresh ground nutmeg is the best. This nutmeg from Sri Lanka is fresh and fragrant-I highly recommend it!

I used to always. Up ground nutmeg. The whole nutmeg seemed a bit pricey to me. Then I bought some on sale and discovered how much more flavorful it is and how long it lasts. The long life of these pods makes it really inexpensive. When my supply was gone, I couldn’t find it in any store so I searched Amazon. I really like this product

Really fresh (though dried) nutmeg. Aromatic and still nutty on the grind.Reminds me that spices have a half life... generally substantially less than the 5 years. Why do we buy in large format and miss the goodness for years?Go figure!

Been seeing the various YouTube cuisiniers touting the necessity of having "fresh nutmet" for awhile now and decided to go for it. Yep, the flavor is better (a bit more subtle and complex, if I had to describe it). Plus the smell of freshly grated nutmeg is fantastic...and looks sorta cool topping beverages. There were about 25 nutmegs in the 4oz pack I bought. We'll buy them again.
