The tag says do not wash, which is perplexing to me. Who ever heard of a pet bed that can't be washed? It also says do not dry clean. When this one gets dirty, I'll probably try washing it anyway, just to see what happens, and because I don't want my dog sleeping in a dirty bed.

What is it filled with and can the entire cover be washed???

I’ve taken the entire cover off, as it zips. It is intended to be removed and washed. I washed it and it came out nice and clean and fit. I don’t know about how to wash the inside pillow because it is quite large. My dog absolutely loves this bed. She will snuggle her face under the top cover. I highly recommend it for dogs who like to burrow.
