I first ordered 2 units and then added a 3rd because I was impressed with the quality construction and performance. The units performed right out of the box. The power handling corresponded to specifications as did the low range for this series bank of tweeters, providing output at 3000Hz and above. The range is listed as 4kHz to 27kHz with maximum/peak power input of 300W, intermittent. The continuous RMS power handling capacity is rated at 150W. The carpeted construction is sturdy and pleasing to the eye and to touch. The "Quick Connect" speaker terminals are spring-loaded and sturdy and easily accept 14-gauge unshielded wire securely and reliably. I estimate that they will accommodate heavier gauge wire as well. The 8Ω input impedance matched the output impedance of the amplifier in bridged, single-channel mode resulting in maximum acoustic power transfer. They could be deployed in pairs, with each unit driven by separate amplifier output channels There is a useful and informative Owner's Manual which can be downloaded from the PYLE web site where the product also can be registered. . In addition to the PYLE PAHT4, the product line also includes the PAHT6 and the PAHT9.which also may meet your needs. Bottom Line: These units perform as specified. The price over performance ratio is outstanding and unbeatable at twice the price. I am very satisfied and pleased with these quality units.

For my home theater setup, I have a digital receiver feeding surround sound. What I found to my dismay was that when using it for Dolby Digital or DTS soundtracks, it cuts out all tone control. You cannot adjust bass or treble. It produces a flat response since all equalization is supposed to have been built into the soundtrack by the film makers. Flat response sounds...kinda flat. I've got good bass because I can control my subwoofer but the speech intelligibility wasn't cutting it and there was nothing within the system I could do about it. In desperation, it occurred to me that if I could increase the quantity of high frequencies by adding tweeters, the additional highs might give me the clarity I sought. I bought this tweeter array and set it on my center speaker and tapped off the center speaker. It worked like a charm and now we can hear every word from anywhere in the room. It has an internal crossover so you get a nice boost of highs while having all your other sound frequencies intact. Maybe not the most elegant way of achieving better clarity for audiophiles, but it was the only thing I could think of to do. It's a nice carpeted unit and for the price, how can you beat it?

I had to tell this i just had the worst phone call to Pyle I got a PAHT4 and it has no modulation so I call them the back ground noise was 12 and the man was not listening and Hung up and didn't answer any of my questions I'm thinking now i may be done ok update to the story i sent the first one back and got a replacement of the same thing well i did what Pyle suggested i do and still nothing i spend 45 mins on the phone with Pyle explaining it all over again well the agent asked if it would be ok if a specialist could call me back in 5 mins 24 hours and still no call so i had to search and found it on a completely different website than Pyle it tells me i need a PT series amplifier and a PPcx2 or 3 to accompany it for proper use i went to Pyle website and search for the products and got o results found why don't they just say what it need's i have gotten around 12 different items from them this year and never had any problems until now please be carfully and don't get something you will have to get thing's that you don't expect to have to get

Value for money

Buying this was a small gamble I made to "round out" the sound of our home theater system. I had just swapped out my two front (L/R) speakers, installing some awesome Klipsch studio monitors. But they didn't help give clarity to the center channel, where most of the voices of mumbling British actors in poorly-engineered movies are heard. I put this 4-element tweeter in parallel (direct connection) with our center channel speaker. It added just the right amount of treble. My wife doesn't have to rewind her British shows nearly as often to understand what the actors are saying. Having sufficient high-frequency response makes the sibilance of the consonant sounds [s, sh, f, x] so much easier to distinguish from each other, especially as our hearing becomes more imperfect.

Well it's my fault for not remembering all of the Pyle-of-junk, Pyramid, Boss, was all of the cer stereo stuff a person stayed away from, back in the day (late 80's early 90's). But I figured, a lot of time has passed since the last time I even touched a speaker wire, so they've got to be good at it by now. But nope, nodda, zilch. Still the same junk from way back then. I couldn't check the impedance, because my meter was showing OL, it was working, because I double checked, by checking the impedance of some of my other subwoofers, and it read them fine. There's something with the wiring inside, because sound was coming from the this unit, but it was the most eardrum piercing sound I've ever heard. Two seconds, and I packed it right back up. Gave me a headache.

I bought a pair, I like that they are carpeted ready for the road, at first I turned them on and I thought it sounded horrible, however after some sound system calibration it sounded accurate and crisp, not bad for the price, I'm running a mini DJ system I created and individual mini amps running the subs and one amp running the Pyle Tweeters, Total 21 speakers are running at the same time. I did a Sound check and I was impressed with the clarity, it's not the best I have ever heard but it's Damn good for the price!
