Of doing this. There is a cult focused on the fact that all oil is not replaced. But it's a new filter . . . and there is a vid of a guy cutting this open and also a conventional filter. The filter in this Easy Change thing is over 2X the filtering area of material. This thing cleans oil far more effectively than conventional configuration and that more than makes up for some residual oil (that gets cleaned)

This is a great site to order from. This was my second purchase from them. Exact OEM filter. I change mine every two years or 50 hours. I change the oil in the crankcase every year. If you think this quick change 30 second oil filter is all you need to change you are sadly mistaken. There is still 2 quarts of dirty oil in the crankcase. Purchase a 3/4" x 4" steel or brass pipe nipple along with a 3/4" pipe cap and change the oil like it should be. The 3/4" pipe plug that comes with this Briggs & Stratton mower is a joke. You will destroy your engine if you only change the filter and of course that is what they want you to do anyway so you will have to purchase another mower.

Exactly what the big box stores sell, but $12 cheaper and I don’t have to leave my house.

Did an oil change in a few minutes. Only reason its not 5 stars is the cost for what you get.
