How long does it take to load?

I'd say about as much time as any other Nerf gun. I mean, you really only want to load from the bottom turret, as it's not on a spring, but switching between the turrets is very easy and cool. There's a second trigger that flips them right at your pinky or ring finger, and it looks pretty cool. Since you have me talking, what's ALSO cool is you can hold the regular trigger down and cock back the spring and it'll fire through them really quick. You can unload all twelve at a surprising speed.P.S. I'm not really a Nerf expert, but it's a pretty cool toy.

It is not automatic. You have to prime it every time.
