Is this a good brush for applying mineral powder foundation? I'm using bare minerals but I hate their brush as it began shedding after about a month.

I wouldn't use this for mineral powder. The one I would try is the buffing brush in the core collection. I find that one gives great coverage with powder products.

These brushes do not shed. I was so pleased that I ordered two more, because I hate it when they shed.

I wouldn't use this one for cream products, it's a large fluffy powder brush.

Would you use this brush for contouring ?

Not really. It’s pretty big and fluffy. I would use it more as an all face bronzer. But not exactly for contouring

Every girl should own one of these.

**~ one of the best powder brushes. Once you get a hold of this brush, you’ll actually feel that rest of them are just so not perfect in front of this one. As it’s a powder brush so it’s for the face -it’s kinda difficult to set the undereye area precisely. It’s comfortable to carry, to work with, gets full coverage in one swipe, bristles are soft, it’s dense and takes the required amount only. Can be worked with both pressed and loose powder. M super happy with this brush.

its a very big fluffy brush that cover the face area in just 2 strokes..the bristles are soft and pick very less product..which is a plus point..so that you dont end up with cakey face..

Nice, fluffy brush

Nice, fluffy brush. Spreads the powder evenly and with sheer coverage and without making it look cakey especially in the humid south indian climate. I got the brush in a tampered packaging though. And some fibres of the brush were loose (not that it made a difference to the brush's efficiency). It is definitely a good purchase worth your money.

It is very good and i am a fan of real techniques product

If you use brushes for everyday makeup, get this. It is very good and i am a fan of real techniques product. I have washed it around 5 times and i have not noticed even a mild shedding. The brush feels soft against the skin.

Pros : 1) cruelty free 2) dries quickly after cleaning 3)provides high coverage in a single swipe 4)light weight 5)takes right amount of product 6)good looking 7)perfect for both loose and pressed powder Cons:- 1)tends to get deshaped after cleaning or several usages 2)it feels like a kabuki brush as you cannot reach under eye corners and precision areas with it.
