Bose SoundDock Series II 30-Pin iPod/iPhone Speaker Dock (Black)

I got a really good deal on this Bose Sound Dock system. It works great with my iPhone 4s (ignore the other customers who says it doesn't). The original price was $249.99 on Bose.com and I knew I could find it cheaper so I went here to Amazon and found it at a really good price. If you don't know about Bose, it's a high quality sound system. It comes installed in most GM cars, they have surround systems, speakers, and even a suspension system for your car that gives you a smooth ride. I would know because I have the Bose stereo system in my car and the Bose suspension system. But anyway bragging about how awesome Bose is... The Bose Docking System II is very small. The sound quality is so clear. The packaging came within it's time frame. It was very well packaged. I purchased a used docking system but I can't tell it's used because it's in such great condition. In the back of the product, it has an auxiliary output. It didn't come with an auxiliary cord. I don't know if it was supposed to but I have my own cord so it didn't matter to me. Also in the box is the remote (new remote). The volume, play, and off buttons are the only ones that work. I don't have a problem getting up and changing the song myself. The sound quality is what you would expect from Bose. And if you are a common Bose customer, you know that Bose makes the smallest products and they get REALLY LOUD. The sound is really clear (unless you have a song that is mono; I strongly recommend that you have all songs in stereo. Songs in mono sound crappy on any sound system). I haven't turned it up all the way because I stay in my dorm and I don't want to get a noise complaint lol. I couldn't bring my huge stereo on campus so the Sound Dock replaced it and is just as loud and saves a lot of space. I think this product is good for a party or a get together. It's pretty to look at as well. Simplicity of sound at it's finest. And also on my invoice I received a coupon at blinq.com I do plan on using it soon. I give it a 5-star review. The thing is pretty awesome and it's a good deal!

Love love love it. Plays perfect. Great sound. I have wanted a Bose system for my iPod forever. Arrived in perfect condition. I also love the V5.1 wireless music receiver. Did not know there was any such thing. Now I can also listen to my Amazon Music on the Bose sound system. Received this sooner than expected so I am pleasantly surprised. Cannot say enough good about this system and the seller Nordwind USA.

Wow..the sound is absolutely incredible. I went and gave this device a second chance and saved a lot of money. Im so glad I did. It gave my old iPad new life. I can listen to all the music that is on it again without a wired headset. Had it on all day Thanksgiving and the unit also charged my ipod and when I went to turn it off. It had a full charge. The unit has a great bass and volume can go very loud. Sound quality is what you'd expect from Bose. Im so glad I read the reviews on this. I was on the fence with this. So very Happy with this product. It was so easy to plug in and start listening. The ipod connected right in on the pins. Couldn't be easier. It's perfect. Don't be afraid to give a product a 2nd chance. My family and friends were very impressed with the sound. I wish the video sound would give it justice.

Bose SoundDock Series II 30-Pin iPod/iPhone Speaker Dock (Black) This speaker is decently small, not that compact for a few reasons I am going to explain and easily packed in a handbag to transport it. It is tiny compared to Bowers and Wilkins Airplay dock but almost as good : it was realeased in 2008 and is still ahead of the game thanks to a solid construction and an iPhone dock that is physically independent of the rest of the speakers and electronics behind. (you can even buy replacements parts on eBay) That means that you can turn up the volume to listen to music in a room without having any trouble with bass vibrations and the device you are using. Bose does not communicate on wattage but it is powered by a power cord 110/220V to 18V 1amp which means I can bring it back to France ! When it comes to pack it in bag, you should be careful but not hitting the dock part itself. As a conclusion, I would say that this product overcomes many other products in the same price range. It does what it has to do: play music and it does pretty well. There is even a jack in so you can plug your DVD player or your computer for max sound when watching a movie. As a final word, any type of music, electronic, techno deep house, rock, rap, rnb, jazz, classical, orchestra, film scores, latin, plays very good with it. Rage Against the Machine, Jay-Z, Kanye West, the Arctic Monkeys, and John Williams would get along for this product ;)

This second-hand speaker system from Bose has a great sound and is much heavier than expected so sits well on a table. My only negative comment is that the description said something about a 'scratch' on the back of the remote. It is more than a scratch but I was able to open it for the battery with a large screwdriver.

I never purchase refurbished items, but - luckily - when I decided to try it, I purchased from this vendor. Not only is the sounddock in premium condition, the sound is as one would expect from a Bose. The shipment came with a personal note to ensure our complete satisfaction. It has clear instructions on how to use the item, the remote, how to install, and how to contract should we require any help. I love it! Bought it for my kitchen for an easy way to play iPod music without turning on the big old stereo. We have open concept kitchen/living area with cathedral ceiling. This baby fills these rooms with beautiful sound. I may not ever turn my old stereo on again! I think it would be plenty loud for background music at a party but probably not loud enough if you are having a head bangin kick out the jams blow out party. I wanted a device that would simply play and charge my iPods with beautiful sound and that is what I got. No set up, simple to use. I have really old iPod classic 30 pin, new iPod nano with lightning connector and iPhone with 30 pin. The new nano requires the lightning to 30 pin adaptor which I already had. As another reviewer noted I think, the remote doesn't control the menu on my classic (probably cuz it is so old - 8-10 yrs old) or my nano (probably cuz of limitations of small nano and it is newer technology). So for my devices the remote controls power and volume, play/pause, skip forward/back but you have to select the music on the device itself. Not a big deal to me. No control for bass/treble but I am really happy with sound. The small size is awesome because it doesn't take up too much space and we could easily move it to another location or take it outside for listening in the yard (connected to power). I am really happy with this purchase and am enjoying my music more frequently because of the ease of playing it.

I'm a bit disappointed but I guess I'll keep it. It came with the charger and the remote as supposed to. I haven't tried the remote yet as I don't have a battery but that's not too big of a deal as I know you can purchase new remotes. A couple little smudges on the unit though that doesn't really bother me. The main things were that the dock worked properly and charged the i-pod/phone. Next of coarse the sound. As the dock charged my old iphone 4s I was glad. Then getting into listening to some music. Right away I noticed the right side was way louder that the left. Though lows still came through the left speaker I could easily tell it was no where near as loud as the other side. Luckily I bought one of these brand new many years ago and have it in another room. I went and tested that one just to be sure it's not how they were. That one was equally loud on both sides. So yup. One blown speaker. It still goes very loud and if you are a bit away from it, it still sounds pretty good. One other thing. As I'm listening to it right now. There is a much louder than normal buzzing probably coming from the connection from the phone to dock. Maybe this would not be if connected through the audio input on the back. I saw a couple people leave reviews about blown speakers. I was hoping my would be in "very good" condition as stated it should be in. Oh well. Sad the people selling these don't at least listen to them or check them out to see if they are up to par. Or they just don't care. I hope others who order one of these used units gets one a little better than mine. Hey, they don't sell them anymore so roll the dice I guess if you really want one.

I am really pleased either way this. It sounds great and works perfectly. The service on delivery has been excellent either way a great deal of care to meet expectations and volunteered easy access to resolve outstanding issues if there had been any. There were no issues but it was very reassuring. I would highly recommend this supplier following this order

Fantastic Bose sound quality and an absolute bargain for the price. Only knocking a star off as it was sold as used, like new and the top of it looks like someone wiped it with an abrasive cloth, leaving loads of scratches along the top surfaces. Other than that, really pleased with purchase.
