This device was extremely helpful in assisting my son in developing his handwriting skills.

It took me a while before I made the decision to order this weighted pencil. And I finally did. The packaging was in excellent condition. The weighted pencil looks exactly like the picture shows. When I opened up the pencil and got my 6yr old son started using it, I could see how it was making a difference right away and how he was handling the pencil and writing with it. I'm so pleased with this weighted pencil that I just ordered another one. One for my son to leave at school and one to have here at the house. I will order another one soon. Great occupational therapy too.

My mom has ET tremor and cannot writing with normal pen. I would like to find solutions for helping her. She feels so excited to receive this tool and try to practice to use it. Unfortunately, after several tries, she said it’s not helping her to write better. Her hand still shaking and not easy to control. I asked ger to try a little more harder to improve her skills of using this tool it’s now 1 month abd still not really working for her.

Works well. It certainly helped my friends "shakes" when writing. The miniature screws to secure the pencil are a bit fiddly, and he couldn't manage them by himself.

6 year old autistic son is having trouble applying pressure down onto the paper when he writes. He is now doing that however this pencil is too fat for his hands so his grip isn't correct at the moment. Not to worry, we will work on the grip next but for now the pencil is working as expected.

my mother loved this! She is 87 and has essential tremor. She does the crossword puzzle in the paper every day. This makes it so much easier for her to bear down on the paper. Great find!

As advertised. Will not be used for another month so can't tell how effective. It does have some weight to it.
