GE Relax LED Candelabra Bulbs, Soft White 40W Equiv, Frosted, 4pk

I'm probably not alone in hating the switch from incandescent to .... other types of bulbs. But, decided to give it a try with these for two wall sconces I have. Well, I'll be darned! They are working... AND with a dimmer. Not flickering (although I did not switch to an LED-capable dimmer switch). They stay cool enough to hold. At full brightness, I think they are a little brighter than the previous, incandescent ones. AND, I am very picky about the COLOR tone of the light... I will not have any sickly-blue or greenish bulbs!! And these are totally fine... nice color of light. So, I guess I am Switched now. (let's see how long they last! I am keeping the packaging that claims they last a long time)

These are great lights, my only complaint is the silver base stick up above the lamp socket which detracts from the looks. This is probably common to any LED light though not specific to this brand. The lights produce a nice soft white light, that is bright.

Replaced all my lightbulbs with these in all my antique fixtures. Absolutely beautiful!

I bought two packs of four bulbs and all work perfectly and fire at the same time. I like that they put off a fair amount of light without being too glaring. The color temperature is very soft. I really like the frosted coating. My only complaint is that the logo/writing is too pronounced on something that is sold as a decorative bulb. I have mine in a chandelier so I don’t notice the writing unless I look for it but this would be a better product if they would shrink or move the writing. A lower price and smaller writing would make this five stars all day.

Like other reviewers, I wish the printing on the bulb wasn't so visible. I decided to purchase as the bulbs are (a) frosted white, (b) have 2700k color temperature and (c) are dimmable, which outweighed knowing about the visible printing before purchasing. I may try to remove the writing at some point, but the process does sound time-consuming. Also, I purchased two 4-packs to have a couple of spares for a 6-light chandelier, however one of the 8 bulbs didn't work, and it seems like a hassle to return just the one bulb. Guess I'll eat the cost of the one bad bulb.

I always prefer the GE bulbs, they seem to last longer and do not become brittle in the sun like cheapo Chinese ones. The Relax color is the best color, nice and soft. Daylight is too white and bright. When ordering chandelier bulbs, make sure you check the base. This style come in regular base and chandelier base (skinny ones).

Soft light yet bright enough for my dining room. I am so pleased I purchased them for another member of my family. No flickering.
