Will this work for chat on Xbox One?

Yes, I bought this cable specifically for that and it does indeed work.

Can this cable work on apple

They sell iOS versions seperately, this is only for Android.

Is this cable same with the original one for momentum? If not, is the quality better or worse?

I bought it as an extra cable for my Sennheiser Momentum M2 Wireless, they are the same with the exception that this one has the in-line control and mic
